Very good analysis Ormin. You predicted this price drop well 3 days ago.

Thank You Wink

I am waiting for more cheap XEMs (de facto XYMs)

testing of area between 8-17 cents (middle is 13cents market often choose that level if can break 17cents)

after that target minimum is 23.6 Fibo

situation in counting of waves is for me little clearer

even bump to 0.44$ will fulfil rules for WXY pattern in forming, but remember 0.44 is minimum de minimis (0.2, should be 0.236 but market likes not to reach fibo levels so accurately), wave X can be much longer, market, its strength in January will choose the final level for this pump...

is this a good time to buy? at 20-21?  I don't think 13 cents will happen....

You must decide, i collect now and lower (partially), because literally noone can be smarter than the almighty market Wink

Bitcoin for me looks like ready to pump (or someone  else will say maybe to dump huh)

paradox is that strong move higher in BTC can cause last, shortliving wave of dump in case of XEMs like cryptos, strong move lower (BTC) will be total tragedy, i hope it will not occur...

i smell final dip in case of XEMUSD in the sixth day of winter Wink it will be funny if the final high (before snapshot) will occur in the same day or around that day (1 day pump), or maybe it will occur 6.01.2021 that is other possibility from my readings - but that is just for fun play, time will tell how that whole situation with price before snapshot will develop.

One more thing. 8 of pentacles gave me an answer where will be situated final dip in case of XEMUSD. It can be 19 cents as 9-1=8 (reversed 19), 17cents as 1+7 or 8 cents (little scary level), previous reading (10 of cups combined with 8 of wands as time of fading wave from 32cents) and energy with this reading related has little changed after so anxious drop. We will see if this 19 cents (10 of cups) can hold or not. King of Cups can suggest that dip will occur in 2 to 4 days counting from now (with day 24.12) and is corelated with 8 of wands showing that drop from 32 cents will last 8 days (to 26.12)

edit// 25.12 huh market pumps up again (Bitcoin was indeed very ready to pump, after some time of sideways moves), so time in case of Tarot looks like hard to predict now, so volatile circumctances are, but this 19-22 cents area looks like final dip for now (certain is only death and taxes), i am ok with that, dont plan to buy more now (buys from that dip satisfy me, unless i see "unexpected" flash crash to the lower level), waiting for further development of situation in the comming weeks before snapshot, should be very volatile and full of uncertainity among the market players. HODL is the best approach.

edit// 26.12 yeah Bitcoin pumped again, in case of XEMBTC it means dump, in case XEMUSD too but with fast price action maybe and high volatility and prices extremum, and after that demand should be renewed with high jump up...

It looks like You are new in cryptospeculation. Trust me when Bitcoin is skyrocketing, there is not much room for growth in case of other coins, especially coins like XEM, but when stabilizes there is some possibility for pumping alternatives, and XEM or XYM is one of them. So patience is the key, not observing intraday waves and saying this is the end. Of course only market have a right, we can have only hopes. Dont You have a hope?, then leave this ship immediately. Sell me Your XEMs for few cents Wink Just kidding. Cryptomarket is wealth transfer from impatient to the patient.

BTC has now much more room to growth, so the whole cryptomarket has, but Bitcoin is the first to grow, nothing has changed after last bubble (2017).

Of course its annoying that XEM does not react well on that BTC pump, 3 years back it was too, but after that we had wechat pump, now we have snapshot, and i bet that many will want in January have as much XEMs as possible and as soon as possible when the snapshot day will be nearer. Demand is the key for growth in that situation. I hope for that demand, and i think many speculators too. Now it looks like many of them thinks the same as I - maybe someone dump some XEMs for growing BTC and do the last promotion.

That is the way the market seems to be moving, traders seem to be jumping from one coin to another whatever is pumping.  Investors are in it for the medium to long term.

When BTC consolidates and moves sideways, traders will jump to ALTs and stable coins and vice versa, this has been the pattern for years in crypto.

Elliot Waves are only possibilities.

Here is bearish counting:

as always is very hard to estimate if today is top of X, or my previous bullish scenario is in play (Bitcoin for 100.000$ or more), however my other tool - Tarot suggests, that in January should be good moment for XYM holders, very short in time, but with profit (if they will be fast with realisation). For BTC 7 pentacles says that the room for growth has ended (sadly) and bearish counting of waves is more probable than bullish, huh very strange but i care less Bitcoin than XEM/XYM.

What do you speculate XYM price will be in January. Bearing in mind that XYM circulating supply will be much lower that XEM circulating supply.

Hi,

I doubt that the circulating supply will be much lower, almost all the exchanges will do the opt-in conversion, except for people who forgot to do the opt-in manipulation on xem wallet, i dont see who wouldnt get their xym.

The XYM supply will be 7.3 bn, as opposed to 8.9bn on XEM supply.  This should in theory mean a higher price at launch date.

Many say that is imposible, but i dont care. My target and expectation is 3$ or better to say somewhere between 2 and 4. Exaxt price level depend on BTCUSD price in that time and trend direction, i hope that Bitcoin will be much higher (i dont believe Tarot reading in that case, because its ambiguous), after some correction, than now in the day of XYMs debute.

Non-believers should look at other debuts like Polkadot, and have in mind place of debute in overall market situation an circumstances.

Congratulations NEM.

3,000,000 blocks!

Runs like clockwork.
Secure. Approaching 6 years with no hacks.
NEM 1.0 is rock-solid and not going away anytime soon.

XYM is the new kid on the block.
Some will sell-off their XEM after the snapshot.
Use the buying opportunity to scoop up discounted XEM.

Hybrid uses are down the road.

Anyone got a final breakdown of where all the XYM funds go?  will all all the dev funds, silvercoin etc wallets be converted to XYM too ? Also after the 6 years is up, what will happen to unclaimed XYM

Wallets were discussed here. https://forum.nem.io/t/core-team-wallet-transfers/26584?

As for the unclaimed funds after 6 years. I don't expect there to be a lot, but it was discussed to burn it.

Ok, maybe I missunderstood something, what if some exchange (for example Bittrex) does not support XYM airdrop, but people are holding XEM there when snapshot is taken. This Bittrex wallet is still in XEM network, so balance in it will be recorded in snapshot. Can Bittrex opt-in later and take XYMs corresponding to this balance to themselvs, or those XYMs will be burned?

because there is a risk of transferring the snapshot, so people began to sell coins.

Guess he means that System launch might be postponed due to some emerged technical things (link bellow) which need to solve before launch, and this brings in a question if snapshot itself will be postponed as well:
