What is a pump and what is a normal rise of the course?

When looking NEM's 7 days' course, the last rise is not very special. Week ago the course visited 820 sat, then it dropped to 670 sat, now it peaked to 900 sat and dropped backwards to 820 sat. Are those normal Ups and Downs ...

Is a pump such a rise, which is caused by _someone's manipulation?
Is a normal rise just the cause of the increased buying of _several people?

Agree, point of holding ALTs is to expect them to overperform BTC. XEM was just Ok in last month (compared to overall market), hopefully it will explode at some moment.
Regarding System XYM, tbh I am now less optimistic about announcement of launch date in a month or so - hope to be proven wrong...

Happy to hear that Ledger support has finally arrived - just tried to access my old wallet after long time but I could not. It must have disappeared after a system reinstall. I have the private key but I have found no way to import the private key into the wallet. Instructions in this regard don't work, probably they are outdated, they point to operations that the wallet seems not to be able to do. So what now?

Well, downloaded symbol-desktop-wallet-win-0.14.0.exe and ran it.
It installed files to C:\Users\jkoil\AppData\Local\Programs\symbol-desktop-wallet\.

When started symbol-desktop-wallet\Symbol Wallet.exe from Dekstop icon, there appeared a big white window ...
no texts, no progress bars ... and it remained empty for 25 minutes. And still is empty while writing this post.

In the Task Manager there is a process 'Symbol Wallet (4)'    :     CPU-usage 0 ... 0.5 % and Memory-usage 117 MB.
It has 4 sub-processes, which are named as "Symbol Wallet".
Their Memory-usages are  21,  5,  28  and 63 MB.
Only the last sub-process has sometimes CPU-usage.

If there is a problem with the network (bad or missing connection to some 'node'), then I would wish at least something shown in the UserInterface ...


Where are the last updated guides?
I guess this https://docs.symbolplatform.com/getting-started/setup-workstation.html  was for testing and TESTNET  and I understood that it was for creating an account. But now we have already the accounts   http://report.experimental.symboldev.network/ok1.html

What did I miss now ??


Edit:  downloaded the same number 0.14.0 package, which was 9 kB bigger. The same result.
    The package 0.10.0 was at least showing something.
    These newer ones are blank.  The CPU % is 0 ... 1 % for the 3 latter processes, but mainly due the mouse movements on the window.

You can use the official NEM Nano Wallet
to import private keys, at least that feature was available on version 2.4.x

If it does not matter,  then can be asked : is it working, if the directory is changed between the commands ?
(In "ancient times" this was usually the first line in the guides: cd <path>

NemTech is the core team developing symbol core systems.
nem group limited is the current nem community leadership body.  They replaced the defunct Nem Foundation, have community funds to spend on development.  They are in charge of what will be the official symbol wallet.
NemProject I'm not sure of.  I think its an older repository of the core team from before Symbol was started, but they are mainly active on the nemtech repo.
