On January 1, 2024, the 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Noto-Peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture. There have also been tsunamis and fires. NPO NEMTUS takes this emergency situation very seriously and it is accepting emergency relief for donations to help the affected areas and people, in the form XEM, XYM, JPY.

Mmmhh....., this is not right.
What is not right? My profile hackered? hmmm... I had 12-"digit" password, but something went wrong. Hopefully it is just some error in this site. The ads in jkoil's current posts are new... I had not those. Maybe the above is now a read page, which can be turned over now https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404539.msg63714208#msg63714208

NEM (XEM) seems to be more "moving" than SYM (XYM). The XEM's price is now almost double.
What could cause such a big cap between the "twins"? ... investors' balance in their pockets: too much XYMs ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does any new Alt coin have such "atmosphere" as NEM had in 2014 - 2015 ?

Hi, I had NEM at snapshot date for XYM; Seem opt-in at that time failed for me. Can I still reclaim XYM or is it too late? Thank you.

Hint is here: Unclaimed Balances: Any balances of XEM at launch that were not opted in, will be held for up to 6 years to allow claims Post Launch Opt In: Anyone who held XEM at snapshot and didn’t opt in pre-launch, will be able to claim their tokens from the unclaimed balances for up to 6 years https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.msg54989132#msg54989132

As an example, let me remind you about the same delisting of Monero in February. At that time it dropped by about 25% (from $160 to $120). After 3-4 months, its cost was restored and even shows growth. Of course, the ranks of XMR and XEM are different, but the analogy is appropriate at this point. NEM is present on many exchanges, it is well known, and more importantly, it is held and used by many people. This gives it the mass and inertia that will restore it to its course. I will also note that in crypto a drop of 30% ... is not impressive) We have experienced something more different. As they say in such cases, this is a good time to buy the coin. This is my humble personal opinion. UPD. Assessment of the situation from the NEM devs https://x.com/0x6861746366574/status/1797803003220836772

You should look here first .... Thanks for the reminder. I know about it. The last payment was made on August 11. Coins are periodically sent to this account to pay for the work of the supernodes (usually every 2-3 months). A large amount is probably not send for security reasons. Typically, coins were added to the account in a timely manner or with a delay of no more than a week. Now the delay exceeded a month, I do not know what the reason is and there is no feedback with the developers. Therefore, I already wrote that if anyone has a communication channel with developers, this information must be pass to them. Or they are aware, but there are temporary technical problems. It remains only to wait until the account is replenished. As soon as the account is replenished, all payments will be made in full.

The NEM supernodes reward m (XEM / day) depends on the number of supernodes n on the NEM network. December 12, 2024 - 85 XEM / day December 13, 2024 - 80 XEM / day December 14, 2024 - 77 XEM / day ... If n ≤ 300, then m = 85. If n > 300, then m = [25500/n], where [...] is an integer part of the number. In the past couple of months, the number of NEM supernodes has constantly increased, and today there are 405.

That would be fair ... and actually aN Equal Move.
