Its a prediction, so it can be low or high in the lead up but by about 1 or 2 days out its usually on the money. Either way its going to be a big jump this time and probably a little better but not much better over the next month or two as well.

I do hope many people realize the diff increases have already made this piece of hardware old and redundant. Unless the price for it is outrageously low, which it won't be

Stop spam posting your donation address and links to your crappy p2p node.
thanks
Come on, man, it's not completely off-topic, just slightly. Edit: His P2Pool front-end implementation is also the best to date, to be clear. Thanks Tracer, as Bitmain claims to have around 20% of the total hash rate right now I think compatibility with p2pool is an important topic...

I do hope many people realize the diff increases have already made this piece of hardware old and redundant. Unless the price for it is outrageously low, which it won't be Well as to what works and does not work for roi .78 watts a hash is better then most gear on the market. The real issue is will fiat to btc change a lot. I purchased 2 coins at 560-570 usd so lets say I spent 1130 fiat for the coins. So for the sake of easy math I send two coins for 2 machines. I want my fiat back. So will I get it? not if coins stay at 565 usd and diff moves crazy. So what to do as a smaller miner get cheap power under 5 cents I roi . Buy 2 sell one on ebay hoping to make 200 on it. letting me get the one I keep cheaper then oem price maybe. Hold my 2 coins that I purchased for 1130 hope for price shift maybe.

Hold on to the coins for now and wait until things are clearer and market pressures force down the price of equipment.

So technically I have been mining for free for over 4 months. EBay buyers are often in my experience fairly clueless on Bitcoin and the mining process. They often have recently heard of it and gone onto EBay then jumped into buying hardware without really knowing what they are financially up against. Selling you hardware frequently is unfortunately the ONLY way to mine on a small scale at the moment, otherwise you'd be better off just hoarding your bitcoin for a while.

Loads of people known about bitmain but are scared or have no BTC to purchase directly. Plus paying in fiat for them is more comfortable as they can use paypal etc.

They are delaying it because of technical issues, they are test running the s3s to provide the same reliable miner s1 was with the same price that will ROI just like s1 did. Maybe just one day before diff hits 16G they would open for orders.

They promised they will give a promise of release in a week. So that will be soon. After all Bitmaintech is the most trusted manufacturer since now. The sudden drop in BTC value really top down their plans.
