Gonna keep my BTC and sit this one out... Hope all you early buyers make millions off of these S-3's. I'll be waiting for them to work the bugs out like they had to with the S2's.

Even a post to say what they were up to without disclosing prices would be nice, just so we have an eta update that's all.

On a side note, I would imaging that the GHS price on Cex.io will take a hit at people cash out of GHS to get some BTC for the S3.

S2 still in stock, need another reason? Since Bitmain decreases price almost daily does it really matter that much if they delay the launch of the S3 since it will just end up launching at a slightly lower price?

1000$ would be too high, 1-1.2 Btc would be fair at this market.

That is just some guy who sells his gear on amazon, and he speculates on the price, or am i missing something?

Honestly, I do not know. It says by Bitmain... On the other hand, why would he post first on amazon....

I would be surprised if the price that is being quoted is anything like the real S3 price. They are probably quoting high to make money of suckers and cover themselves.

When did Bitmain last update the price on the S2 @ $1790?..   Its bad business to to shoot themselves in the foot w/ S3  pricing that erodes the remaining S2's they have to sell.

Unless they do a VERY limited release that sells out instantly just to build hype and hold back any further sales until they offload whatever 55nm stock is left to the suckers that want instant gratification.

Nobody would actually pay 1790$ / S2, I didn´t pay that much one month ago. (Nobody smart, that is)

Even with the 400$ discount the S2 is still at 1390, still high for a 1.1W/GH device in this mining environment.
