LTC isn't dead, it just takes time for you to see it rise
I agree with you. Litecoin still has the opportunity to become successful. It just takes a little bit of time. We will all see its growth very soon.

I also believe that this coin will soon grow. If bitcoin continues to grow, then this coin will become very popular and expensive. In 2018, the price will rise to $ 500

I'm just curious how you guys estimate the price , well it's just prediction but still i want to believe that this will happen to litecoin soon.

Litecoin has beaten all the previous records and reached its maximum price! I am sure this altcoin will be growing further and more people will start using it for operations and trade it.

haha, what a sign of life from litecoin in the last 2 days, that is pretty amazing. i never thought it was a dead coin but i also not expect a bull run like this.

Every coin has its day. Now look where Litecoin is at  Grin

A lot of patience was needed for this one but it was well worth it now from where this coin started.

Litecoin is officially dead, why you may ask?

What Litecoin used to offer:

ASIC Resistance
GPU Resistance
2.5minute blocktime

What Litecoin now offers:
2.5minute blocktime

Basically, Litecoin is worth less than Blackcoin, Netcoin, OompaLoompaCoin, heck, practically anycoin that has a faster blocktime and Any other feature... Litecoin offers absolutely nothing over what 99% of these alt coins offers, even the worst alt coin offer more innovative features than Litecoin. And to those litecoin bagholders, who say that "Litecoins age and adoption" is something it offers, that's not true..There are NO reputable stores Worldwide that accept Litecoin, not one.

Verdict: Litecoin is dead, it hasn't been updated in years, it's a practically abandoned coin. I'm gonna feel really sorry to all the litecoin bagholders that are still "HODLING" when Litecoin reaches $1, 50 cents, 10 cents etc.

I hope this 'dead' coin keeps shooting up! I own some and it's helping my portfolio out a ton right now. It has the name recognition/was early enough that I think it will, but I guess we'll see.

I find it strange that even though litecoin is considered by many to be useless, the value of this coin is still very high and many have already benefited from this. Maybe the devs are just having a vacation right now that is why we do not see much of this coin. Anyone knows where these admins are now?

this is the case because people owning bitcoins are migrating towards it and bitcoin is still considered valuable or the centre of cryptoeconomics, which it is not going to stay for long,

Question: what's to stop whales from cashing out of BTC and Buying in LTC? I mean BTC is nearing an all time high. Most of whom could take a massive profit and move it to LTC. It's price would skyrocket and they could make even more? Is this what just happened?

Because of faster transactions people likes litecoin more. I don’t know if it lacks security because one block gets processed in 2.5 mins instead of 10 minutes. Mining it is easier  but if you haven’t started mining before i wouldn’t start mining it now. It’s generally risky coin to invest.

If you made a comparison with precious metals and crypto currency, then this can probably be regarded as sarcasm, because in my opinion too, gold and silver are of far greater value.

Is just for today? well with how the value really jumped so high maybe its gathered some attention but btc is still far from this
coin in terms of value, so if ltc is a gold maybe btc is sort of as a diamond or a much previous metal.
