Litecoin still survive to this day, but can not compete with Bitcoin. But with the price movements quite dramatically at this time, you should also look litecoin market from now on. that's my opinion. sorry if wrong in my words.

Litecoin is officially dead, why you may ask?

What Litecoin used to offer:

ASIC Resistance
GPU Resistance
2.5minute blocktime

What Litecoin now offers:
2.5minute blocktime

Basically, Litecoin is worth less than Blackcoin, Netcoin, OompaLoompaCoin, heck, practically anycoin that has a faster blocktime and Any other feature... Litecoin offers absolutely nothing over what 99% of these alt coins offers, even the worst alt coin offer more innovative features than Litecoin. And to those litecoin bagholders, who say that "Litecoins age and adoption" is something it offers, that's not true..There are NO reputable stores Worldwide that accept Litecoin, not one.

Verdict: Litecoin is dead, it hasn't been updated in years, it's a practically abandoned coin. I'm gonna feel really sorry to all the litecoin bagholders that are still "HODLING" when Litecoin reaches $1, 50 cents, 10 cents etc.

When I was read this Way back 2015 I was not Convince that litecoin has no future or Dead Just look at LTC today 3 and 1/2 years after, if those Bag holders they point was listen to this opinion He declare Litecoin "officially dead" in 2014 but in 2018 Litecoin is resurrected from the grave sounds funny if Hodlers was listen to this opinion before they miss this LTC price today! But this is just and old thread!

No one knows where the bottom is, but it has a chance to return if you want to risk, and to buy and waiting for a good price for sale

I little agreed with you as Asic miners now almost don't bring me any profit. It just enough for 1 week of breakfast with a burger and 1 glass of coffee from McDonald lol. After 1 month now I earn only about 25$ profit after fees.
yeah, lucky I still don't loose my money with it

If litecoin is dead it's a fish because it's floating upwards.

It is not at its high piont of course, but I would not say it is dead completely. The market is unpredictable, so we all can be really surprised

When it is official it should come from the team who created the coins and not from just a mere haters of that coin. And it should be quoted in the thread to make it more realistic like providing a link that could truly identify about the update of that coin. Posting it here without any evidences would merely labeled you as a fraud and of course we do not want that to happen. So consider posting a thread which is more realistic.

Litecoin is too similar to Bitcoin. Only one of them will survive.

There are no reasons for Litecoins dead. Yes, its price a lower than in January, but it is still has a great potencial for growth and can bring its holders a nice profit!

I do not like LTC.  I think he has no future.  Yes, the price for this coin is stable.  But it does not grow.

It is not and you are wrong. With a coin like litecoin, it does take a while but they always reach their fullest potential and end up doing well so even though it might seem like litecoin is not doing very well but that is because all of the coins are suffering too due to the market being down and once prices start to pick up again then you will see litecoin start doing better

I wouldn't say that Litecoin is dead. Only few people remember that Litecoin was actually one of the first forks of Bitcoin.Litecoin is currently the #5 cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of $12 billion. This compares to Bitcoin with a market capitilization of $170 billion. Thus, Bitcoin is currently valued at roughly 15 times the value of Litecoin. Litecoin has faster transaction times and less expensive transactions. Among the many alternative cryptocurrencies, or altcoins, that exist today, few have been around for as long and done as well as Litecoin.

Each coin has a rise and fall phase. As long as it does not completely disappear, it continues to rise at an amazing level.
