Hi,

Due to the issues with the blockchain/network abuse, we've dropped BTM from the miners multipool: www.zpool.ca

Cheers

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

 So here is a blockchain analysis of the blocks 74000 to 74700 with a diff < 1000
 we only have 6 different mining adresses ( miners / pools ) for those "easy" blocks

 {"miner":"bNM7YNSpV73xocf1Mf3UsiFp1xpQCVLRpw","amount":1920.0004}
 {"miner":"bLJLzoryyh8HTrLuhQGw4Fb5RyMtaMPyZG","amount":1960.0002}
 {"miner":"bLiakdC1z1h466nHk9FtD5wLBBqmK6axPL","amount":1600.00098379}
 {"miner":"bYLYGFy9ZZisLNVy8ti6joPfqT3uTFxZGs","amount":4501.5862613200015}
 {"miner":"bV8bJhBesun9F4af3Xcowh74pZtx2RTbhk","amount":1880.0003}
 {"miner":"bYWuPyyYXGvpBeeMPif69kHsCSDZ97Wf2H","amount":2160.0006}

all of this addresses are brand new.. and they do not have a single output..
they are waiting for confirmations, then they got dumped ( i think )

so as there is no "known pool" / solo miner i think we only have ONE miner..
this is bad.

100% orphan blocks.
bitmarkd getinfo: "errors" : "Warning: The network does not appear to fully agree! Some miners appear to be experiencing issues."
Reboot does not help. In five minutes it repeats.

so now lets look at the matured blocks, 72000 to 73000 ( again only those with low diff ) = 23. july

{"miner":"bUNu7nd7qkzNny7ejmZY3sEhHURjoDGDdu","amount":900.0009} -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bMNvHp3ApQVJa1jCCjh5L53vtc5vhnULWC","amount":840.0006}  -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bUPbwzoD7qZSppNdSWfgsNfxcD2jFdnBiG","amount":760.00418123}  -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bXMwNSuUTGwiB9vhHkaxc9dr9fmDbJUzkr","amount":960.0006} -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bH3jyS54UFoXNwzqNbE2zB77Nb66RXbjit","amount":660.0004} -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bNLtki31Mmnf5vQT6NMmoJU7PPVLYEnqmY","amount":1440.0008} -> sends to bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX
{"miner":"bau99u4YAtvsDCXvwCNH4Ass27vmn7dVhA","amount":60}] -> no output

so all these "cheap" coins are collected on bGgQEPTCZPsLxMMXaPHHxEDStJWk7YUqGX. 19640 BTM at the moment . but there is no output. so it does not really look like an exchange does it? So why are coins collected there?

As said, I've seen this before and due to having hours and days of no mining at all (stuck on high diff/low price) BTM is even better suited for mining a private chain and releasing blocks as needed when the public chain catches up.

If it follows the other coins where I have witnessed this "problem", then no honest miner will ever see a matured block anymore.
The wallet error seems to occure whenever a bunch of blocks are released from the selfish miner and persists as long as a majority of nodes hasn't followed it completely and therefor is on different blockheights for some time. When I check in my debug.log, I see that often a dozen of blocks come in within seconds and trigger that error. While two blocks in a row happen to every halfway lucky miner from time to time, something like a dozen or so in a row (few seconds) happens rather seldom (actually never).

I suspect other coins with a noteable marketcap and a diff in the hundreds will follow this path.

right.. and the attacker seems to always use 6 different ( new ) adresses, so it will be hard to detect / ban .. clever!

so do we have any community solution to this? somebody could implement a timestamping like in goldcoin.. and then we would have to hardfork,.
not really useful for such dead coin.. so we porobably just let it die..

nevertheless, i am exited about the next pump and dump! ( what else should one do with collected coins!? )

Wallets are working fine. Lot of orphans here too, though. This just tells me someone is mining it strongly to accumulate a bunch.

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!

Any working pools?

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I am not synching either, no connections. I added these nodes to bitmark.conf, and still nothing. Using win7, and wallet from link in OP(0.9.4). I'm sure the problem is something I'm forgetting, but I have no idea what.... any suggestions?

If you have a "connect=xxx.yyy.zzz.kkk" statement somewhere in the .conf file, and the node is not active, then the addnode statements won't have any effect.

Here's a fresh list of nodes, active now:

Was a very exciting post, I'm disappointing to read how many problems there have been with this coin it looked very promising, it shows you you cant trust a good pitch you need to wait and see results
