I got a new phone and since installing the app again and loading, I just get the following message:
Syncing Coins
Syncing coins with server.
and it just hangs there forever.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same thing happens. I have left the phone to do its thing with a decent WIFI connection and it doesn't seem to help.
Maybe clearing the Blockfolio-App-Cache will help? Yes, Thank You! Silly me. Perhaps you can help me with something else.. Blockfolio shows me as having made a profit on certain coins, but on the chart I can see the current rate is lower than when I bought it. I bought my alt coins on Bittrex but Blockfolio uses Poloniex for the charts. Could this account for the discrepancy? Yes it could. Or maybe you haven't correctly set the date of when you bought your coin. FYI, you can change where Blockfolio gets the data from by tapping on the name of the exchange. It will then show you all the available exchanges for that coin. |

For now there is no built in backup option, but you can root your android phone and backup the app data with Titanium backup. |

I search my coin, sync with server. Put quality and then click on save.. It never saves.. I'm using HTC One E8. Download the blockfolio app from playstore

They updated the app but did not add the backup feature. I really can not believe this. I've been using Blockfolio for almost a year now and after all those months, I didn't know that you can't backup your trades/portfolio in their app. This is somehow an inconvenience for someone who always change his/her phone and take note that not all of android users here root their phones. Hopefully, the team behind Blockfolio would come up with a backup feature in their upcoming updates. That would be very useful.  |

I'm glad to see the devs are listening to the community. I lobbied for the Add/Deduct Tx from BTC balance feature which was added as of the last update. Happy!! I would like to mention this. the prices were updated in advance after the first entry. but after logging in for the last 1 week I need to turn the screen off and on several times. then the prices are only updated. I do not know what can be done about it, but I do not know if there is a problem with it.

yes they have alert for buying and selling you can set it in the app so every time your buy and sell filled you will know. first add the coin or token in the blockfolio app then set alert. |

You might mean the same thing I noticed. Before, the prices would update when you open the app. It doesn't do that any more on my device, so each time I open the app, I have to drag my entire portfolio list down from the top and release it. The app then refreshes all prices. This might work for you as well.. it's an easier fix than turning the screen off and on several times |
