since I was invested during that incident (I'm not any longer and won't ever return) and dean doesnt appear to pay doog any bug bounty, maybe investors should come together for that.

I'd be willing to contribute. feel free to drop your donation adress @doog!

I'm not fishing for donations. My point was to bring attention to the lack of any incentive to report bugs.

I know you don't  Wink but that doesnt change the fact that you saved me and others a lot of pain and magic internet money.

Feel free to redirect my planned donation to any other good cause you find/know/like.

Site profits essentially doubled over night. Great day for investors, terrible day for one brutally unlucky gambler.

One dicer lost 16 BTC of his winnings he had made over the last 3 weeks, over about 15 minutes. The house made about 0.4 BTC from the world cup final.

have you watched it or is there any way to find out about this myself?
I really would like to know how he gambled -> e.g. if it was some kind of martingale fail or what his strategy was

I watched the whole thing unfortunately. His usual strategy was 3x payout and double on loss. His 16 BTC winnings came from that risky strategy, but ended up taking it all back. After the first string of losses risking 1 BTC each time was bad enough, made a little back after that, then another horrendous string. Didn't look particularly unlucky either; just regular 33% losses and being unlucky with what he staked and when. $10,000 gone in the blink of an eye.

Tomorrow dice stats should update to reflect the house's winnings from today here: https://prcdice.eu/report/dailydicestats

Pretty sure dooglus checked the code prior to this and admits himself that he missed it, then explained it to Dean afterwards. But hey, keep flogging the dead horse. The decision is final, and anyone who reads this thread can make up their own minds on the matter.

I'm thankful dooglus did do it, very much so. But he seemed to take it upon himself to do it, and missed the critical issue before the event occurred (ask him). Just wanted to make that clear since you are trying to state something else.

In other news, looks like sports bets won't see much action since the world cup is finished, but Dean will probably post updates in chat. I'll eventually post more info on it here when I know!

So the fault are not on the player site and dean are not paying ?

Don't know. Doesn't matter now, as said multiple times already the decision is final. If you don't like the site you are not being forced to use it by anyone. How many different ways can it be phrased?

My investment profits on PRC over the last month are over 4 times what they were in my entire time on Just-Dice.com, and I'm only using the site about a month. Sometimes there's a lot of betting and sometimes there is less betting.

But hey, lets listen to the self professed forum troll who has never spent 5 minutes on the site.

For anyone interested in information on wagered, profits, etc, here's a breakdown for dice. Some days the house wins, and some day it loses, but for the last 3 weeks, on average, there has been over 100 BTC wagered on dice alone per day.

Thats probably because the amount invested right now is small. If like JD, you have 40K invested, then a profit of 10 BTC to the house, doesnt get you much with an investment of 2-3 BTC.

Investing in Just-Dice was great but really there were so many super rich investors that the rewards were barely worth it. Investing in a smaller house is nicer but the profits swing a lot more too.

JD had a huge max profit per bet which was very rarely used.

PRC has a pretty small max profit per bet, and it's used pretty often.

That's what makes PRC's returns better.

From my point of view it's currently a high return high risk investment compared to JD (but that's mainly because I know and trust the JD operator much more than the PRC operator Wink)

No different than investing in Doge-Dice.com then dooglus. Max profit was what, <7 BTC at the end? Didn't seem like a high risk high reward investment at all, imo.

I think the bankroll was around 2.5 billion, so max profit was 12.5 million, or around 12.5 BTC I guess. Return was much higher at DD than JD.

Risk is subjective. Not sure I understand your point.
