What would you recommend me to buy-PTS or BTSX? I have about 17k BTSX and no PTS.
If you are looking to flip them for a profit then I can't really advise you, as I am not sure myself. I think they are both cheap right now. If you are interested in the BitSharesX family of dacs (trading, banking, derivatives tied to real world price) then you should stay in BTSX, If voting or DNS is more your speed you should go into PTS. |

I just buy another 17k BTSX for 1-2 year investment. I hope it's worth it.

What is nice about the upcoming snapshot is that you will get 2 DAC's for the price of one. To be honest I am not sure what I would do. I am hedging my bets simply by owning a little bit of everything they make.......it is of course the only way to be sure. |

I own BTSX & PTS but I would guess PTS will outperform BTSX in the next 10 days. (I own PTS for the snapshot but I've also moved a little BTC into it just for a trade too.)
BitAssets for BTSX may be released in August too, so it's a tough one to guess.

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

I think the next fall of difficulty is coming in September. But it will last even lesser than the 4-5 window period last time. The price will decrease after that period a lot if the experiences of last time were anything to go by.

Notice how PTS is up today while alt-coins are tanking?
BitShares has a big snapshot on the 21st Aug - That means it will could easily be up
most days till the 21st. (Look on the CMC price graph at the last big snapshot date on 28th Feb.)
The snapshots on the 21st are really cool, BitShares DNS & followmyvote, & if you keep the PTS in your wallet on that day you get issued shares in those DAC's.
At the same time it's not a bad idea to buy PTS now while other alts are struggling and if you decide you don't like the snapshots enough you can sell before the 21st.

Actually if you have PTS they will convert 1:1 Bitshares once the mining period for PTS is over
If you donated BTC or PTS to AGS fund you would receive BTSX shares for every PTS/AGS you held before Feb 28th snapshot
That is only true for DACs that snapshot after all PTS are mined ... and only if the amounts are the same .. in BTSX the total supply is 2billion .. so you got like 500 BTSX per PTS .. |

if you interested in the 2 snapshots it is not a bad idea to buy PTS
all the coins are shaking in the moment, so you have to look for something with purpose.
