dev invested 50btc in payment system which will come in a week, so u will see it is so small premine and wallet is visible, premine will be used by coin managers for bounties, ads, etc etc
anyway nobody make serious work for free

Depends on what the dev team is all about. I think that the long term potential required the dev team to have that kind of buying power in XXX.

Well.. Pre-mine is essential for on-going developments and support of the project.. But close to 5% is just too much.
A coins success depends on how well they are distributed. With 5% in the hands of few members in the dev team, its hard for the coin to gain trust with investors.

Ok, so i am admittedly a relative newbie to the altcoin world. That being said, I became very excited when I read this thread and learned about XXXcoin, so much so that I invested .5 BTC in XXX. So then I went on Poloniex chat and they said the following:

"Stay away from pre-mined coins because they are a scam"

and ...

"if you are going to invest in XXXcoin, you need to go to that thread and insist that the dev put the majority of premined coins on Bittrex as escrow"

and....

"if it's pre-mined I would stay away"

So I replied that I WOULD ask that the pre-mined coins be sent to Bittrex as escrow and that I would ask about this in this thread.

I am very excited about this coin because of what I have read and because of the A+ premium name....however, I and I'm sure many others, need to know that this isn't a scam coin and that the dev isn't holding a million coins that he is going to dump and run with at some point in the near future.

Looking forward to the response from the dev and others.

I totally agree with you. I do not believe that the dev is scamming us either and I'd really like to see where this coin goes. The price has nearly multiplied by four times, which is more than enough for me.

While I have great confidence in this project I will say this.  The law of investing is never come to the table with money you are not willing to lose!!!  Putting funds in a project firstly and then doing research is due-diligence  in reverse.  While I do not believe this project is a scam in the least, you can never tell until the end.  All best laid plans have risk.

I have about 14 Btc to play with so .5 Btc is not a huge risk. I did read this thread before investing and I am still very excited about the project. However, I would very much like for the dev to address the concerns of the posters on Poloniex who are admittedly more knowledgeable than I.

It is important to note that the posters on Poloniex simply stated concerns that many others have about this coin (someone on Bittrex also said that XXXcoin is a scam) so it's better to put these concerns out in the open where they can be rebutted and discussed.

what is the decision about the poll on pre-mine? this is the one i'm worrying on investing on a coin.. pre-mine coins is very risky but i will invest only a little seeing this coin has a potential. if this has zero pre-mine sure it will skyrocket.
