Hi Guys,

I hope your all doing well and good luck with kore but please refrain from spamming our thread with massive posts about the coin. Actually it was just one guy Rw13enlib88 .

Thanks

I'm sorry for this, our guys very good and in the last days they are very much excitate for the new features. I'm sure they wanted only to talk about it, not spam planning.

No worries, I get that but the problem is that it was this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668886.msg7708320#msg7708320 which is quite large.

Good Luck

There's no debug.log because the wallet simply don't start.
At the systemlog there's nothing to find about Korecoin.

If anyone else is having the same issue and can find any log about it, please report. Thanks.

I going to try to install the version 14.04 on a VBox, I will send you a feedback later Wink

Thank you  Smiley

I've finish to install the VBox right now. Wallet tested, working fine.

Stupid question... have you unzip it ?  Roll Eyes

from terminal
Code:
gunzip korecoin-qt.gz
chmod +x korecoin-qt
./korecoin-qt

Yes i have unzip it... is it 64-bit?
I'm using 32-bit, maybe that's the problem?

As a excuse I should say I know it's not the best way to promote a coin, but between 400 coins its not easy be seen.

More important, I feel bad for Eurbids answering those spam accusations cos he has proof us he is a serious and skilled dev. And IMO that's not the way he deserves we promo Kore.

For that reason I think we should discuss a more prepared marketing plan to promote the coin. Any ideas??

Dont worry PR is PR or call it Guerilliamarketting  Grin
But yes i have a idea!
Look at the history of our coin!
A scammer has created this coin, we invested in it and then he gone and let us alone with the coin, we was about to loose all our money but then Eurbids came and asked if we are agree if he will be the new dev.
We was agree and then Eurbids and the community run this coin.
This old scamcoin has been now one of the most attractive coins ever with the most active dev ever.
I am not good in writing story's but you know that whats happen here is a good story for some news portals.
Its only marketing and how good you are in writing and representing the story.
First i would give it to coindesk and then to other news portals.
What do you think about this idea guys??

It sounds awesome to me. I'll try it. English is not my native language (as you can imagine  Tongue) I'll write it and I post it here, so you can check it. And not a good writter, but maybe working together we can make something interesting...

Does someone has a macosx or ubuntu linux wallet who is working good.
Everybody say download from OP, where is this op? Is it the first page on this forum?
I tried to run the osx wallet from the page one yesterday again on my snow leopard but its again not running.
I need a linux or mac wallet. Can you help Dev?

For linux you can compile it alone or tell me what linux you have I will compile it for you, for OSX the minimum OS required is 10.7. All new coin clients work at minimum 10.7, why you don't planning to update your OS ? Smiley

I have now the newest OSX Maverix on my macbook  Cool
The wallet is now sinching already at 75%  Grin
I need the hidden comand to find the wallet.dat to safe it extern.

The same here but instead of Bitcoin for Korecoin
"The location of ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/ is correct. Lion does hide this directory in a weird way, but to access it, simply do this:

1.) Click the Finder icon on the dock
2.) press Command+SHIFT+"G" to "Go to the folder"
3.) Input "~/Library" and hit RETURN.

This will bring you into your logged-in user's Library folder. From there you can navigate to Application Support -> Bitcoin."
