Strange indeed... I've got three wallets on different machines (Win7 x64, Win 8.1 x64), and staking goes without any issues.

Maybe it makes sense to list the other anon coins in the first page showing exactly where and how KORE is superior to them???

Agree, it's crazy. Running windows 7 64bit and I copied the .conf file from the 1st page and changed the un/pw. I am installing the wallet on a windows 8.1 64bit machine right now and see what it does. Is there any setup I need to do in settings?

Seriously, I've been in the chatbox telling people to read our thread, but they dont care...

I still believe the best way is to pay this fucking 1.1 btc to the press and go to the broad masses.
I mean for 9 news sites it seems a good price to me!
Otherwise we have to wait a lot of time and pray.

Agree. I think it should also include the market capitalization of each of them. So the investors can see clearly the potential of KoreCoin

IMO we should have first everything running smoothly and the new features already released. If we go first to the media, we can only promiss things, which not make us diferent from the other anon coins. Just my opinion..

LOL. Why you're buying Kore at 3735 if you can buy it for 1500-2000 sat soon. We will go down before the real things and features will come true. It can take for 2-3 weeks in such speed of delivery

I checked the tor.log file and it appears Tor is not starting.  The log looks like this:

Jul 09 01:25:39.000 [notice] Bootstrapped 85%: Finishing handshake with first hop.
Jul 09 01:25:40.000 [notice] Bootstrapped 90%: Establishing a Tor circuit.
Jul 09 01:25:40.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
Jul 09 01:25:41.000 [notice] Tor has successfully opened a circuit. Looks like client functionality is working.
Jul 09 01:25:41.000 [notice] Bootstrapped 100%: Done.
Jul 09 01:25:41.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
Jul 09 01:25:42.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
Jul 09 01:25:43.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
Jul 09 01:25:44.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
Jul 09 01:25:45.000 [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
...
Jul 09 01:26:03.000 [notice] Closing stream for '[scrubbed].onion': hidden service is unavailable (try again later).

Tor working, but the Sock version 80 it's strange thing. Debug log ?

Ok. you win  Tongue Tongue  When we've got everything running we'll discuss the way to pay this people. BTW we need to write the article we want them to publish or they make their own article??

It can take for 2-3 weeks in such speed of delivery

The only one who knows that is Eurbids... but yeah I agree it could take more than expected. Too much problems when creating new thing...

It would be awesome if we've got for 1st August, KoreCoin running smoothly with all the features included.

BTW, thanks dev for all your hard work!!

Also, not sure if it's "normal", but when I run KoreCoin qt for the first time I receive the following error message:
No external address found.
...\KoreCoin\onion\hostname

...and then KoreCoin exits.  Upon starting it for the second time there is no error message and the wallet works, except, of course, as mentioned, there is no staking.

This line show you that Stake miner started correctly.

Try to add this to your .conf file :

Code:
staking=1
synctime=0

No external address found.
...\KoreCoin\onion\hostname

...and then KoreCoin exits.  Upon starting it for the second time there is no error message and the wallet works, except, of course, as mentioned, there is no staking.

No problem, sometimes it can make it, but only in the first start, when wallet are not create yet the onion folder.

But I continue to don't like this line :

Code:
[warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)

Can you try to delete the "onion" folder and the "tor" folder, and start over the wallet ?

Debug log ?

This line show you that Stake miner started correctly.

Try to add this to your .conf file :

Code:
staking=1
synctime=0

Followed your suggestions but still no change.

Tor.log is still filled with [warn] Socks version 80 not recognized. (Tor is not an http proxy.)
