Is Eubids still working for this community?
He's probably taking a break. He's been working so hard. I bet he will be back. You can do what you want
That is a good question, one I was afraid to ask because of what it would do to the price but I still bought again today....hope it wasn't a mistake.
DEV/Eurbids:I read through his posts.
He has had this issue numerous times with the KORE Community not staking and getting the Blockchain Stuck
and has been very honest about the importance of the Community Doing Their Part staking the coin
while he was up at times nearly 3 days getting KORE's Code to the point it is now.
We don't know at this time IF a bug OR a DDoS attack has been the main issue making it seem as though nobody was staking.
I say this because a few have PM'd me to verify they had their wallet/wallet's staking at the time the blockchain first got stuck.
The fact the blockchain has been off and on stuck for last few days and the fact
IF you leave your wallet staking though the blockchain get's stuck your wallets get the full amount of reward once the blockchain frees up and the blockchain shows those blocks it should have makes me consider it's a bug or DDoS attack.
IMO-Eurbids had it and expressed that clearly.
All his hard work many sleepless nights pumping out fixes and code three times as fast as multiple Dev's
were able to do on some prominent Coins....and where was the Community.
I fall guilty too as I was not staking at all.
I never wanted to stake.
Not that I'm a speculator wanting to sell out at the first sign of an upswing because I have only
increased our holdings this entire time.
I do believe Eurbids will confirm and others here that We have been 100% Supportive of KORE in any way we could.
We do have our Valid Reasons why we did not want to stake however there was a dire need so we now stake 24/7.
So I can understand why others were not and do not want to stake while being fully for KORE long term.
IMO-Eurbids has Taught the KORE Community a NEEDED LESSON in a "Tough Love" type of way.
And What I see is the KORE Community has risen to the occasion spectacularly.
Albeit a bit slow but it's completely understandable and acceptable under the said conditions.
Your guess is good as mine when Eurbid will be back. We do not know his circumstances but I will give him
more than ample time as he's been nearly 24/7 for the last 4 weeks and we don't know what other responsibilities he has let slip and needs to put his full effort to bring those up to where they should be.
Ones have contacted me and possibly some others here asking to help in the Dev, Promotion, Marketing and Investment departments since they see the high potential of KORE Mainly due to it's Dev, Eurbids hard work and Innovative Ideas, tech, abilities and no nonsense straight forwardness Very hard to find in the Alt/Anon coins.
Maybe the Dev will consider to allow them to do the more simple tasks while he concentrates on the code and
all his Incredible Ideas.
Fact is ALL our work put together is a drop in the bucket compared to the efforts Eurbid's put in.
Maybe we could consider always keeping that in mind and also not giving him a hard time IF and when he comes back.
The Dev knows Most of ones concerns and what drives that concern is the share price and this is a tough one as I see Dev's all the time on other coins saying the share price is not their main concern.
And bingo! the share price drops.
Only NOW do I dare try to understand what they mean by that statement.
It's not their "MAIN" concern BUT a Concern it is.
Notice how many "Investors" Selfishly Narrowly Focus the one Part of that statement...and bash the Dev.
The Devs get it. That's ALL Those who bash him care about...while the Devs are hard at work trying to make a superior coin.
So IF you have bashed the Dev by PM you might want to consider sending an apology.
OK, time to move on...
Where do we go from here?
The KORE Community is working hard on the Forum and by PM behind the scenes
to see that KORE becomes fully implemented as best can be over time.
We all know this waiting period could be a Fudsters and low bidders dream and they are the ones that have to live
with themselves as mark my words..."Life Goes Full Circle"...It might take many years BUT I've seen time and again
that Most do not escape this fact nor do they even consider it could happen to them and in that exposes their predominant flaw.
Regarding Zerocoin:Read the Dev's Words Carefully on the main page:He has been testing Zerocoin and realized it won't work and all coins saying it will may not be telling the truth.
Now what other Dev tells it like it is???
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668886.msg7561628#msg7561628ZEROCOIN /
DARKKOREI've realized a way we can apply the zerocoin
idea to our coin.
This code, though already present on many coins
I think will not work properly. It's old and was only a theory. You can read on the zerocoin website and
come to understand they have still yet to migrate from zerocoin to zerocash code.Zerocash will work on the Bitcoin 0.9.1 wallet, because in this wallet version the
Bitcoin developers have implemented a new Chains management. The new Bitcoin is able to manage many Chains at the same time, with the same wallet software.
This new feature
permits zerocash to work properly : Bitcoin transactions going in main chain, zerocash transactions going to an alternative chain.
The need is to merge the TXs of these two chains.
But they have not finished development.KORECoin doesn't have much interest in zerocash. First because our wallet is not ready to be 0.9.1 based.
It's a large amount of work to migrate,
because it requires rewriting half of the code.
I've found a viable alternative solution, based from the zerocoin idea, that
we will be calling DarkKore.
Where Dark doesn't come from DarkCoin, but comes from "DarkNet".
We are already, in the DarkNet by using imbedded TOR, and the new feature that's
based on zerocoin is very similar. This feature will send transactions "in the dark", under the normal chain,
and convert the coins when the owner wants (like two wallets, one normal and one hidden).
I've already begun to write the code and will continue to update the thread as I have news.He does not state the code he is writing is in the current code however he does state he "tried Zerocoin Implementation" but realized it won't work.
Might consider reading the main page a few times to fully understand how straight forward and incredible Eurbids is and more than proven to be. He does not say it the way many Devs do as a blow hard or with a Megaphone NOR a P&D type of way.
I and Many Others who "Get the Dev" Highly Respect how he operates, who he is and makes us realize who of us do not have our very own flaws...
IMO- Do your own DD
(Due Diligence) and make up your own mind as to what you should do under your circumstances.
Best to the KORE Community.
for the KoreCoin community.
Eurbids, if you are reading this: Again, since the moment I was convinced of how good KoreCoin is, and jumped onboard, I've had nothing but admiration for what you have done. Please consider that there is much support in this community for KoreCoin. Some of us have been staking non-stop. I can tell you that I
, since I started using KoreCoin! I have not stopped staking, not once. Got two wallets staking 24/7. There clearly were also some very well-intentioned people also in the community who did not realise that they needed to stake. Not everyone understands all the technicals, and so they simply did not know it was necessary. Staking was new to me as well (having only used PoW coins previously.) I did not know "staking was absolutely necessary", but I
stake nonetheless, and continue to do so; it simply seemed like the right thing to do so that's what I did. NOW I realise the importance of staking, and will remind everyone to do so, especially newcomers!
. It's the way people are. We simply have to accept that just as we accept the sky is blue and the grass is green. Again, that is what every coin attracts to some degree or other. What is most important, however, is that there are sufficient members of a community who are sincerely interested in seeing things develop and who will assist in keeping things moving forward. These members, as we have clearly seen there are numerous of them here, are what can serve as the anchor, or crew, keeping the 'ship' steady, whilst you, the captain, steer the ultimate direction and decide the destiny of the project. Together history can be made. Let KoreCoin write that history. It is up to you, and we are here to assist. Just shout and let us know if there is anything we can do assist you in any way.
