Keep in mind that when you set an amount to reserve, it does not stop staking 'right away'.  You will need to wait a couple of blocks before the coins 'un-stake'.  Sometimes the network takes a while to generate blocks (if the overall number of people staking is low) in which case you may have to be patient.  As the adoption of KoreCoin increases and more people stake coins, so will block generation speed increase.

You can also try rebooting your computer for possible faster results.
