so... how do I "unstake" coins in my wallet?

Settings --> Options --> Reserve (enter the amount you wish to prevent being staked.)

After reserving you may have to wait a while until you see your coins 'unstake'.

Yes and rebooting your computer could speed up that process.
I will make a copy of both our explanations combining them into one statement.

WE NEED:
A page or help section or single post where all important fixes and explanations
are cataloged or at least posted for future reference.

Any suggestions?

Hm, yes, perhaps.  On the other hand, the forum thread may be sufficient.  Summarizing things, as you have already done with your "why we stake" piece may be all that's necessary.  Perhaps that could be expanded upon and/or be the basis for what you have in mind.

I was thinking IF we can get someone that made a post near first post on thread we can
send them the Tips and they can update that post making it a troubleshooting post only.

Like with this staker not being able to unstake their coins.
I've never had an issue and rebooting worked one time I was super rushed.
BUT the explanation you gave is needed for those not used to PoS wallets.
This Education is sorely needed in the Crypto World as many are new
to CC's and new Tech. like this situation of how PoS wallets work.

Then we can ask the DEV to put a link on the Website and on the main OP page to that post.
Either that or we can find a decent public page info could be put on
and just post the link on the website and OP page.

NOTICE:
IF Anyone had this issue of coins taking many hours to "unstake" and
would not "unstake" even after a computer reboot please make it known
and what you did to correct the situation.

had that issue this morning. I unlocked the wallet for staking only and went for a 30 min walk. it was no longer staking and available to send when I got back. not sure if unlocking is what solved it or just a coincidence but figured it was worth mentioning. may want to consider changing it so you don't have to do the "reserve" thing in order to move your coins.

Currently Holding: SWIFT(BitSwift) & XMG(Magi)

This is not acceptable and needs fixing NOW.

I've tried a lot of things and a scam group is also using $kore to rip people off. A lot of people that believe in your coin are losing large sums of money. Fix it immediately.

Thanks for your reply it's good to know.

To my knowledge the "Reserve Option" is there for that reason.
To have coins in your wallet that won't be tied to staking that
can be moved quickly.

Regarding wallets temporarily stopping to stake
you also have to consider connections to the internet are routinely interrupted.
You just don't realize it.
Also Routers sometimes reboot.

You definitely need to consider how much you stake in a PoS Wallet.
You can still be a Support for the Network while only staking a smaller portion of those coins.

Did you send a PM to the DEV?

It's not "a bug" and it's "an issue", nor is it "a flaw".  It is in the nature of the design of the Proof of Stake system (which many coins use), and what you're saying is akin to saying to the Bitcoin developers: "Fix the time we have to wait for transactions to be confirmed" (which is anywhere from a few minutes to 1-2 hours.)  The Bitcoin developers will tell you that there's nothing they can do to change it since it is part of the inherent design of the system.  That being-said, with PoBA, the KoreCoin blockchain will need to be forked and if there are any additional improvements that can be made it likely possible for them to be included at such a point in time.

The lag can, however, be 'fixed' "NOW", as you demand: By asking people who are speculating on exchanges to put some of their coins back in their wallets and stake them.  If they do that then whenever you or someone clicks "reserve", things would happen a lot quicker.

KORE Upon VoIP ALPHA Release WILL INSTANTLY HAVE Real World usage
as well as Inherent Value.
The ability to make ANON VoIP Chat and Phone calls out of the gate
is quite impressive.

Not all BUT most of us here have gone through a "weeding process"
and have stuck it out due to Trust and we understand the Real Value
of KORE COIN far exceeds current prices and are perfectly comfortable
to go the long haul.
Though many know I hold substantial KORE, only plan to sell a small
portion over time quite a few hundred percent from current prices
and only do so that it does not negatively effect KORE.

The reason I chose to put my reputation on the line is the DEV AND most
importantly the Tech. and the Reasons it Must be Made Available.
Simply, Peace of Mind.
After turning down the invitation by the DEV to help out weeks went by
and then finally decided to only help here and there due to the need as
I did not want to see this Tech. by the DEV go unfulfilled.
It became clear this was the Real Deal.

I don't do drugs, sell drugs, arms, nor launder money and we all know who
are the most culpable entities insidiously systemically corrupt at the forefront
whilst they fight to protect "their needed link" in those schemes
regardless of the human suffering they cause.
People will always use something for good or bad.
It's called freedom of choice and no matter the Institution, Profession,
Position or simple daily choices. People make those decisions.

Anyone on the KORE Team can verify the Intentions that we all
help out KORE to be a main stream clean coin available for everyday
usage that could be accepted by the general public.
That we as a Team DO NOT play in the games of manipulation
so prevalent in the alt markets and the fact the DEV has provided
a clean Moderated thread, shows we are in good company.

yep, we need someone to address all the possible issues.  like a FAQ page on website itself or a wordpress blog and put the link on the first post of this thread.

In case you have not noticed someone's been buying up a heck of
alot of coins from those selling into the wall on Bittrex.

First noticed this same 12k wall at 28000 till the buy pressure was too
much. It then disappeared till the buy pressure stopped.
Then the 12k wall sat at 29000 till the buy pressure caused them to lose 500 coins
then it disappeared.
Then this same 12k wall (same 12k balance) went to 30000 and it's been there for awhile as
tens of thousands have sold right before that 12k wall.

Been watching Kore and it's nice to see something a bit different that has so much potential.

SIP VOIP should be a game changer. The thread is a positive read with lots of excitement about upcoming events, very refreshing to say the least.

Right now the Kore in my signature represents my current position. Always open to a bit of seed Kore to get things growing  Tongue

Keep moving forward and keep up the positive attitude

Hey, good to have you here with us!
