yes, some issues yet. I've try to change the way and I working for embed a Jabber client into the wallet for chat and presence. Jabber is the engine used by yahoo and the msn messenger. And, of course, integrate voip calls with Jabber.

Definitive ALPHA 3 still pending yet for now. Any news soon.

OK, What I see is a few things Eurbids is telling us...

1: "yes, some issues yet. I've try to change the way"
There are coding issues and he's having to "Change the Way" which probably
means he's scrapping a bunch of Code and starting over.

2: "working for embed a Jabber client... for chat, presence, integrate voip calls..."
Rather than make something work like Jabber he's trying to embed the actual client
and being he's integrating the Jabber client to work with ALL the features
of "chat, presence, and voip calls" it means he can't release parts that are working
because it ALL has to work well prior to release since they are all connected to the Client Jabber.


ALPHA v3 is still "pending for now" as he continues to Code.
Eurbids said he's looking forward to talking about
the ideas and Inventions I've mentioned to him that I wanted to
get approval from him since they are "Satoshi Nakamoto" type
and are a perfect fit for the "KORE Revolution".
We were to talk after BETA release but I let him know
maybe we should talk a little after ALPHA v3 release since KORE'S
pending additional growth to come will mean some possible changes.

For those who are concerned...
I don't blame you however He's always come through and I believe
he's dealing with some Coding and Integration problems.
He's not trying to include a simple chat etc.
These are complex situations making it all work together.

Eurbids had said previously he's doing this because he wants to
and for the Community.
I don't think He will let "Us, the Real Community" down
however do your own DD and make your own decisions.
It would be prudent to note,
He's not expressed a liking for "Speculators"...and
I think we can all tell who they are...

For those wondering...I have not sold any.
I personally will continue my patient waiting mode.

As you say it would certainly be cool if the kimono could be opened a little.
I assume at some point down the line there will be a paper explaining the tech and perhaps even an open-sourcing once KORE is unstoppable.

I think we can agree that the trust in this product can only follow a deeper understanding of how it works. Only then will it truly explode in popularity.

ALPHA is Testing Mode so Report all "NEW"  Bugs to Eurbids.

FYI:  If your Router supports UPNP you don't need to forward
the SIP Port 5060 manually, UPNP does the work for you.
If your Router doesn't support UPNP Then Voice will only work in one direction.
This means you have to forward the port 5060.

STEPS: #1-3 for Direct and Buddy List Calling Setup - Use Direct Calling
1-Go to the "Receive Address Tab" and create a new address.
Label it however you like. Might makes sense to designate it your VoIP Address.

2-Right Click the Address and choose the bottom option "Set VoIP Account".

3-Go to "VoIP Calls" tab and click on the "CONNECT" tab to REGISTER.

STEPS: #4 and #5 for Direct Calling Only at this time:
4-Enter the Address you'd like to call in the "Direct Calling/IM" box near the bottom.
You will see two tiny boxes on the right. Click on the "Left Tiny Box w-Speaker Icon" to dial.

5-Watch the "Call Status" box, You will see it say "Calling".
Whoever is Receiving the call has to accept the call by clicking "Answer Call"
that will show in the box above the "Call Status" box.

To hang up simply click "Hang Up".

★ SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for those in "Restricted Internet Use Areas":
If you are in a region where internet is monitored by government and your ISP uses
a transparent proxy for content filtering, your wallet might not "connect"
In order to make the wallet working, download "Pd Proxy"
