And to anyone who would expose their miners to outside air, keep humidity in mind. I had an old Avalon unit I stuck outside in a screened in porch area. It was away from any rain however, after a couple of months the circuit boards started to build up corrosion and the miner stopped working, until I cleaned the corrosion off. I keep it indoors, in the A/C after that.

the miner will not be exposed to outside air.

It will blow the exhaust outside .

the inside will be right under a central ac vent in a spare bedroom.

once I get it set up you will see what I mean.

All the hot warm air will blow out the window.

I would be interested to see your design once you finish it. Need a better way to get the heat out of my home office where my S3's are going to go.

No, they'll start shipping very soon, I am sure.  They are not like BFL et al.  Hold your nerve units will soon be on there way.  It's now the 14th July in Beijing, so keep an eye on your orders all you who placed an order in batch#1, and let the rest of us know when units start shipping.

Well I have a batch 1 order, placed the same day that they went on sale. I'll let you guys know as soon as I see that my order has shipped.

I hope they get the firmware out in time.

Likewise I ordered the minute they brought them for sale in the store. I've yet to receive any tracking info yet this is my first ever bitmaintech purchase and really hoping they deliver within the time frame. Hoping to see an update they must be pretty busy packing up all the miners they just took off the network. Cheesy

Well I'm a returning customer. I had previously bought a S1 from Bitmain. I was nervous about it coming from China but I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of the purchase. Shipping was free and fast, the packing was good, and my antminer has worked like a charm since.

I do have faith in Bitmain, it would just be nice to hear an update from them. I just worry that they are behind or that something went wrong.

I wish I could start a bet and be the HOUSE on that bet...  (Pay out if not being shipped like BFL or Black Arrow) then I could make a lot of profit....   Grin Grin Grin

I would say, just wait as the Batch 1 shipment was promissed to ship sometimes between July 10 and July 20th.  It is only July 13/14 (depends on where you are at now)  It is still within the promissed range.

I would say give Bitmain some faith for another week.  Instead of speculatirng and scaring others or being upset about what others speculate,  old asian saying even says, No News is a GOOD News!!

Bitmain was online 15 or so minutes ago. Maybe they saw the natives are getting restless and will hurry up.

Yeah I can picture it in my mind.  Hopefully once the gear comes I can build it and it works.
