Is it me our do some of these post sound more like jealousy then "warnings". Yes the dev could possibly make off like a fat cat if he so chooses too. But give him a chance to make good first. Crypto is a business and I've never seen a business make it without profits. Don't like the coin then move on, but AT THIS POINT we all know what the dev got in ICO. We really don't need to here it again. We've all made a decision to go in on this or sit back and watch. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride ether way. Cause if Dev dips out i'm sure you guys will BURN you fingers off with the "I TOLD YOU SO POSTS"......
Ok, I understand your point but given the amount of scrutiny that people demand in general for most coins it is hypocritical to be blind about Icebergcoin and hope for the best. People scream SCAM when they see 1% premine, here, we have 20% premine being already dumped for BTC.
Explain, what is the point for this dev to do anything with Icerberg coin? This coin doesn't offer anything new, as most others, and there is no incentive for the dev to do anything since he will get his paycheck very soon.

After changing my rigs to NIST5 im getting 13 MH/s on my 280x rigs but temperatures are really high like avg 71c* wtf...

i tought this was meant to be cooler than x11.   It consumes a bit extra watt power compare to x11. is 950w normal for a 5 x 280x rig???

I have a radeon r9 290. At a test on a nist5 pool it gives me 7.9 mh on the talkcoinminer (sgminer).
Can I expect more with an other miner or different settings?
powertune 20, engine 1043, mem 1500, threadconcurency 8512, g 1, w 512, i 20, lookup gap 0

Try this
http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/298gqc/greenpool_x11_amd_144146_drivers_trick_for_extra/

Got my r9 270x from 5mh to 8.6!!!

I´ve tried this. But which kernel to use for icebergcoin? nist5 wasn´t in so I copied it to the folder but I only
get errors (share is above target) and rejected shares

Im having the same problem....any help?

sorry peeps was at work use algo talkcoin-mod

I'm using this sgminer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0

Grin Grin yeah 15.3 mh   Cheesy Cheesy super tipp. thanks a lot. Settings same as above, but sgminer 5.0 pre release. I love it

So what the heck is wrong with mine....talkcoin sgminer I am getting 8.3 mhs with my 290x with same settings on sgminer 5 i get <3.

I highlighted the changes I recommend. Use a program like afterburner to set gpuclock and memclock. Try 1100/1500 for starters and adjust as needed. Make sure you delete any .bat files in the miner folder before starting with new settings. I'm not using the new 5 version of the miner so I'm not sure but is there suppose to be a hyphen in the kernel name. Other modded (like x11mod) miners don't use a hyphen

71c is not hot for a gpu. Anything beow 85c is OK IMHO
i tought this was meant to be cooler than x11.   It consumes a bit extra watt power compare to x11. is 950w normal for a 5 x 280x rig???
When you're getting 3+ times more hashrate than X11 it's going to run hotter and use more power.
