nope, the only transactions i have are the giveaways and the 6 stakings...
the wallet is running unlocked since the distribution began...
the only difference with most of you is that my wallet runs under linux, and no, i don't have a spare windows box...

skunk, maybe you were just unlucky finding stake blocks. afaik there is still PoW mining on until block 100000 to make sure the network is not stopping in the case there are not enough coins staking.


edit: I have my coins on linux, too. I run premineplusd and they stake very well.

hmmm... so there are over 79k pow blocks left... maybe you're right, just bad luck...

Minor issue, but if I minimise my wallet and click it from the icon tray, sometimes the window will be blank, and menus will appear only if I click on them.

Think it might not be refreshing the pane when it's being maximised from the icon tray sometimes.

I am not sure either, but when I got my first bit of ~30PMP, I was able to stake almost immediately. I will leave my wallet open today and try again.

About the previous posts asking about not staking:

I could stake just fine earlier, then I encrypted my wallet and it stopped staking. After a day, I thought it was not just random variance and had a look. There indeed is a bug that prevents staking when the wallet is encrypted, even if it is unlocked.

Fixed by this patch:

It's been known for awhile that encrypting your wallet prevents staking, but I was unaware there was a fix for this out there.

Hello everyone.
I'm sorry for my absence. Contrary to popular belief I have not been hard at work. There was a death in my family that has been very troubling for us. I haven't touched a single line of PMP code in over 10 days. I have spent the past week trying to get caught up with some of my paying projects as those clients are losing patience with me. As I clear those off my plate I will be investing my time back into PMP.

I believe this is a good example of why these projects need to be self-sustaining. With a central point of failure (myself) if anything were to happen to me or prevent me from contributing then things will grind to a halt. I am just now starting to take account of the project again and get things moving forward.

I'm going to load up the house wallet right now.

We have two offers for exchanges and kbroadfoot has a suggestion for getting us listed on another. I see that a couple people are quite antsy about getting on an exchange.
My position on this has not changed. I can hardly prevent an exchange from listing us, but I would prefer that we weren't listed just yet.

A few things on my plate:

• We still need to decide if we are going to end the PoW blocks early as it is interfering with everyones staking rewards
• I am still holding the left over coins from the coin reduction. These need to be destroyed. I'll generate a fancy burn address shortly and we can publicly destroy them
• Speak with another developer regarding implementation of our two key features
• Block explorer is still out of date. Need to get ahold of candidakefyr about updating the damn daemon
• Speak with another dev about more games
• implement block explorer into wallet
• create new community game (quiz, draw, etc)

I'll try to get things sorted out as fast as I can. Big thanks to yogibaer for processing swaps while I was away and ctenc001 for making the community forums. Ive bought the domain premineplus.com, maybe for now we can just forward the nameservers to the forum.
Bear with me, we will get back on track.
