Does this mean that the bot always sells at a higher price than it bought?  Or does that depend on the threshold setting?  (and the EMA numbers I suppose... Hmmm)
The bot sells at the actual market price of that moment.

Well, all I can say is that you should have sold it last night, instead of using the bot Smiley

It does work.
Just don't expect it to earn money for you - it's a tool that you are obviously not capable to use.
Would you give your car to someone who cannot drive? I wouldn't. So please just uninstall it and stop bothering me Smiley

You can call me a troll also if you wish but so far this bot is retarded. I put 4 bitcoins in the account just to see what would happen. At the time the coins confirmed into my account the price was at  4.961 - the "bot" waited until the price dropped to 4.89527 to sell some and then sold the rest AT AN EVEN LOWER RATE! 4.89206

I dont care that I lost a few cents - I realized going into this it might not work but please explain to me how this makes sense.

This bot is not retarded - it does what it is made for; following a simple trading strategy.
Whether this strategy works, or not, it's not up to me.
If you discover it not following the rules, the strategy - let me know then.
Otherwise, I really don't care if (neither how much) you lost or won so far.

yes, here I can agree.
this strategy has been retarded, as for the last N days or so...
but if you run it on a historical data, few months back, it would have actually been quite profitable.
whether you want to try it for the next few months, or not - it's completely up to you.
and I'm not even saying you should...
I created this tool only for people who had a demand for it. obviously you were not among them Smiley

can you explain more about the strategy? I am sure there is a reason why this bot waited and sold the coins when the price was low instead of when it was high, and then sold more when it dropped even lower. I am not trying to attack you or put you down I genuinely want to understand why it did why it did. I mean as retarded as it is it must have a reason for doing what its doing, you created this thing can you explain?

I think the strategy is from Goomboo's Journal linked in the first post.
