Dude we are aware of bugs and are working on them. The code is up for people to look at and see we are working. No need to post in the main thread that you have found bugs, a private message will suffice However I have just pushed the 2 missing files for secp256k1 and implemented a fix for change.

Ah ok, I am on Ubuntu 14.04 with Sublime3 as my editor, Terminal as my error/warning checker and my brain and fingers as the IDE.

Will be swapping out the Scrypt code for Argon2d and removing the PoW limitations. But for now, yeah, the code is how it stands for testing right now. PoW works fine though and that's why it isn't needed to have a long period. What we need to test is PoS and Stormnode payments, hence the PoW being short and PoS starting on block 101 in the test version.

Anyone have Argon2d mining software for nvidia? No. Should have miners on release. Besides, the parameters to Argon2d haven't even been chosen yet - it's a tunable KDF. We won't launch without the mining software ready

Never, and yes PoS is a feature of DarkSilk and the new Silk. Silkcoin will be able to be swapped to the new Silk at a 1:1 ratio. The dates for the DarkSilk and Silk launch will be announced once the codebase of both are tested and ready. This also applies to the Weaver platform.

So if i get it right silk will get 2 coins , 1 called darksilk and one called newsilk newsilk is rebranded (old silk) with a swap ratio of 1:1. darksilk will start from 0 coins and will have a fair new launch soon ? They both become PoS, but why do you need 2 coins ? To be honest i like the fact you guys work hard on this and rebranding it , but so far its all pretty confusing. Is there a way those coins get togheter or anything like that ?

Silk Network is the name given to our entire network which encompasses Silk, DarkSilk and the Weaver platform. Silkcoin that everyone is using now has an awful network with a lot of issues, not to mention a garish wallet overloaded with features (many unneeded). Because of this I have been coding a new coin simply called Silk which has the suffix SLK to replace Silkcoin (SILK) completely. The swap will be handled on Weaver at a 1:1 swap ratio. The swap will be indefinite but only caters to addresses that held Silkcoin (SILK) at the moment of launch or prior to it, this is because there are a lot of users of Silkcoin and if we put a time limit on the swap there is a great chance people will not find out until it is too late. DarkSilk is an entirely new coin which I have been working on solely since April/May last year until November time when Amir Abrams joined the team and has started to assist me with the work. DarkSilk (DRKSILK) has Stormnodes (Masternodes), Sandstorm (DarkSend), InstantX, Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, Quorums, Budgeting/Proposals/Voting, Stealth Addresses,Watch-Only addresses, a decentralised marketplace and more. DarkSilk will also have a brand new algorithm for PoW called Argon2d which Wolf0 is configuring and also creating GPU miners for. PoS will have Blake2B for PoS. PoW will not be CPU mined as to avoid exploitation via Botnets. The Weaver platform has many features and more info can be found in the whitepaper here (please note whitepaper is not final until the moment of launch) - https://goo.gl/OwgKnv

Sorry no. Argon2d will be the PoW mining algorithm and Blake2B will be the PoS algorithm.

I Think many have the same problem, a better known hashrate will make a bigger mining hash , but also better spreading. Im simply not going to own the coin cause when a new algo comes out mostly people of the community will instamine or , mine it like crazy. and the coin will be pumped/ dumped
