I am test mining (sgminer) now and it seems to be working good. Block times are looking good. Though we need to test for several hundered blocks.

Your obviously using Linux and that is why you are connected.

When commenting please state which version of the wallet you are testing.

Anyway I am rebuilding Windows and Mac wallets for testing as I made a last minute change just before sleeping last night which in fact prevented people from connecting to the nodes.

Please delete all copies of the release candidate you may have and clear your chains.

Once we are back up I would like that people just CPU mine as to make it fair for everyone to find blocks etc.

I will post links to download the new build soon and the network is back up and available to connect to.

Until the releases are up to date with commit version 40a721 then please do not download the binaries, thank you.

Good question. I don't actually know.

I do know that http://darksilk.org and http://darksilkfoundation.org will be up at launchtime for DarkSilk.

I will talk with some community members to see what the state of the Silkcoin site is.

If you cannot get a connection to the network simply open the debug window and then go to console and type:

addnode 45.63.13.128 add (hit enter)
addnode 74.5.128.205 add (hit enter)

Restart your wallet.

Still no connections?

Make a darksilk.conf file:

Apologies after reviewing the code built from for the Windows exe's I realised it was using a previous version of the code.

Rebuilding the Windows executables right now.

where is the seperate ann for drkslk so its not confused with normal silkcoin? Since silkcoin wont be changed over on cryptsy and will always be listed on there as that.

The DarkSilk ann will come. We aren't at that stage though. Once the wallets codebase is sorted and Weaver is ready then the Ann will go up. There is a lot still to do.

It is a new launch.

DarkSilk is a coin in its own right.

The will be a swap period from Silk to DarkSilk though for current holders at the point of the ANN thread launching.

The moment before I start the ANN I will snapshot all addresses on the Silkcoin blockchain and their balances. These will be entered into Weaver for the swap period.

The swap period will be a short amount of time i.e 72 hours - 1 week
