@psychocoin: Followers of the silkcoin threads have suffered a lot so far. If you have enough time to waste and don't mind the pain, try to read the old thread.

I know, I was there. I'm not sure how some things that I saw were allowed to happen - were mods not around? Posts should have been deleted and people getting banned left and right as the chaos unfolded. Some unbelievably hurtful content, doxxing and death threats are still sitting there for all to see. Nobody has done anything to clean it up, do mods even do things like that? Cause I was under the sensible impression that they should. Report to moderator button is there for a reason, right?

Anyway, we know why it all started and there is just no chance anything like that could happen again with the kind of devs and management we have now, so I wouldn't worry about that.


Also, guys, could you try not to nest that many quotes with every reply as that clogs the view?

Actually deadhorsecoin is a pretty good name.  I grew up playing in the deadhorse creek.  So its actually kinda nice.

Anyone who tries to rebuild Silkcoin from the ground up(and it has already went down to 200sat, so that's almost ground), is trustworthy  in my book. They have nothing to gain unless they can persevere and make something from nothing.

I can't wait to test out the new wallet. I'm also brushing up on my QT and C++ skills, I hope to dig in see what i can learn from this awsome wallet design, and what looks to be some great new dev coders.

New stable client with many fixes is at the top of the ANN.  1.0.9.3
Notes of fixes at the top of the ANN.

1.0.9.4 being worked on hard by Bishop and Detroit.
Original code (1.0.9.2 and older) is in rough shape, and is taking extensive time and effort to clean up.

We'd like to release 1.0.9.4 this week and is currently is testing phases.  I will update as we are closer to finalizing a release date.

Otherwise, the network is sound and the 1.0.9.3 wallet is working correctly with the exception of some market data issues (of course being worked on for next upgrade.)
