Greet Boneeee

You can already mine it at hashcows, set payout option to SC

Why is this transaction not showing up in my wallet?

http://explorer.silk-coin.com/tx/a2129003163bfdb7a0be97bd923eb4e5f87e194b1014d786fe4958e00bae5c22

This shows posting into my wallet: B63cYyt5Byf1WtYVZZ1AcQn2oMVYb1CBgP

But the SC client 1.0.9.3 synced to the current block chain does not display the transaction?

Was there a fork as well?

If it is stuck at block 60000 (what I think) You need to download the new wallet, because there was a hardfork at that block.

You can download the new wallet here  https://github.com/hanzlambrecht/silkcoin/releases/

Delete your old silkcoin client everything in your Appdata folder except wallet.dat

Than open new Silkcoin client and download the new blockchain again.

Did you remove everything except wallet.dat?

What can help (I had almost the same issue)

Restart the client a few times and everytime you started the client let it download for one minute.

My client also got stuk at 60000 and it would only download one block per minute or hour sometimes.

If you restart it few times it will download like 500 blocks per time you restart it, at a sudden point it will pass the 'stuck' point and the block sync will continue as normal

Only a fork at 60k.

This block is higher than that -- any ideas why it would not show up in my wallet (assuming my address is correct, of course)

Coinking is a Multipool with an 1% fee that auto-convert automatically and pay in the coin of your choise.

The only fees attached to the process are what originate from the exchange and from the respective blockchain itself that you pay for sending any transaction. The blockchain fee is divided up amongst the total number of users in the current conversion.

Maybe, SilkCoin can be added there.

I talked with a staff member of Coinking, there is a possibility of adding the coin, but he wants to speak with one of the devs first.

You can connect him on Freenode #Coinking, and private message Jool

I can try that -- I had downloaded the block chain zip file, and let it sync the last 4 days worth.

On June 24, 2014, after seeing a rise to the top of every exchange it was involved in,
the original Silkcoin developers decided to abandon the community and its investors in a shameless display of confusion and greed.

This relaunch of Silkcoin will end fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
The Silk Team will be relentless in its pursuit of transparency, trust, character and exceptional results.
We will utilize proven and emerging technologies, for the ultimate benefit of Silkcoin users and the greater cryptocurrency community.

With the help of grassroots recruiting and exceptionally skilled professionals,
the new development team for Silkcoin will become one of the most prominent and respected teams in cryptocurrency history.
The hierarchy has been flattened, with visionary group managers leading the charge (think coaches who also play).
All work is purely task-focussed; all egos have been checked at the door.

We have dozens of cutting-edge features planned, including the implementation of a decentralized Silkcoin marketplace and social platform.
These innovations will be unleashed via regular client upgrades and special ecosystem websites!

One other groundbreaking feature will be the implementation of a Wallet Voting System.
This will empower investors with in-wallet voting options for all key innovations and community decisions.
As a Silkcoin investor, you will become a meaningful part of our development!

We invite you all to view, question, and contribute to what is taking place.
Decide the future of Silkcoin through investment and active engagement.
As this incredible coin retakes its place among the highest calibre of competitors, everyone in our community will be richly rewarded.

The camel marches on.

In the history section at the top, I think your second sentence should immediately address the community take over.  It kinda sounds like SILK is still in limbo.  Something along the lines of...

"On June 24, 2014, after seeing a rise to the top of every exchange in which it was involved,
the original Silkcoin developers decided to abandon the community and its investors in a shameless display of confusion and greed. On June xx, 2014, the Silkcoin community united and confidently took the reins to commit their highly competent skills and resouces to ensure Silkcoin reaches its revolutionary destination.  Weaving together its innovative and visionary concepts of unifying staking, social media, payment processing, currency exchange, [insert agenda] into one strong, yet pliable, fabric, Silkcoin will open a new pathway by bringing its unique crypto payment structure to the forefront as the most  convenient and efficient medium for everday transactions to meet all business and consumer needs."

Got carried away on the rest, but we do need that second sentece idea addresses right after saying the orig devs fell off the camel.

Only a fork at 60k.

This block is higher than that -- any ideas why it would not show up in my wallet (assuming my address is correct, of course)

Can you remove everything in your folder except wallet.dat and download the blockchain again?

I can try that -- I had downloaded the block chain zip file, and let it sync the last 4 days worth.

Download the blockchain directly trough the client. avoid the zip file

That did it, good idea -- I would suggest that the block zip be deleted and the instructions changed if it cannot be used
