Guys, here are two ideas for the next wallet release that will go a LONG way to making it clear Silkcoin has turned a major corner in its development and professionalism:

1. Change the release number to 1.1.0.0 instead of 1.0.9.4 ... or even just 1.1!
Is there any reason that our devs needs four levels of demarcation?
When people think "Do I have the latest version installed?", it's easier to manage if the version numbers are simpler.

2. Change the wallet's loading splash screen. That "stock market" image is tied in people's minds with the old/scammy team.
I think the grey sand dunes photo (with triumphant person in the background) from the new website by Moniq would be a great image to use.
This goes towards building on our brand's consistency at the same time .

Ben

I agree on both accounts, especially changing the wallet loading splash screen. Def reminds me of old team!!

Ill have a new Splash screen ready soon

You might also want to change the coin logo too.  The circle with the letter s.  Were not still using thar are we?  Looks awesome, though.   Great job!

That's steep.  I've never heard of any of them.  I usually search the forums and news.  However, I just scanned one and will probably cruise them more often for condensed crypto news sources.

How many here read them?

Yes, way too much. I haven't read any of them. I can however, for 1.1 BTC do a better job at making sure everyone, and I mean everyone, knows about silkcoin. I can guarantee it.

For our new Twitter account, the one we have linked on the ANN is @NetworkSilk... is this correct?
If it is, the following needs to be updated on it ASAP:

- Banner background (removing the stock market image)
- Logo (camel, of course Smiley )
- Link to primary website... silk-coin.com is the old one... have we decided on silkcoin.co or silkcoin.io?
- The yellow of hashtagged text and links is too bright, hard to read against white background. The "golden" RGB value being used in the ANN is 242,188,21

Yes, I just saw that twitter too and it def needs to be changed. Any/all places that splash is, needs to be updated. No remnants of old devs is key to our success.

I knew we had these websites to use. I didn't know about silkcoin.io. I thought silkcoin.co was going to be the main one used. Community?

Silkcoin.co is fine with me.

The most important thing is that we need to get SilkCoin under people's attention again.

Are we intersted in negotiating the purchase of silkcoin.com?

I have contact information for owner of .com .net .org and .info
Apparently part of original team.
Many, many directions we can go with this.

They reside in a country that has a decent legal system for criminal prosecution.  Just sayin'.  It ain't some teenager in South Africa, either.  Any hardcore negotiators or attorneys in our community?

I am not going to negotiate with thieves.

If they want to give it, I'm fine with that. If they don't, screw them.

Canadian guy has others.  Not in use.

Silk-coin.net .org .us and .info are available and one click away.
Feedback?

New Client is getting close.

Will have to update all the links on the test website, and then update everything.

Mafort if you can reach everyone for 1.1 btc I might donate that myself, once everything is released.

Id say silkcoin.co is awesome for main site.

Also who had silkcoin.us? Was that you mafort?

Also a very good name, just don't know if there would be country restrictions.
