I said it tongue in cheek, but now I'll clarify with actual figures:

If you have no raffle credits and you buy one raffle credit, you in fact increase your chances of winning by 100%.

Not again.  you are gonna hate me for this.

0% increased to x% is a infinite% increase (divide by 0 stuff)

On topic now: how many tickets sold by now?

I will release the numbers after selling just 69 more tickets.

I see. My prediction is that with 69 more you will get around break even point and announce a secondary raffle with the money raised from this one. Cheesy

Congrats btw. great idea

I think it is fair to keep the number of entries secret until the raffle is closed. As you are taking risk that there will be fewer entries than would pay for the BFL single, you should benefit if there are more than cost sold. Early disclosure would show "ok, no point in buying a ticket now as we have 2000 sold", if that were the case.

34 hours left people!

Also, I know I promised once 69 more credits were sold I would reveal the credit count (even though I am not required to for any reason whatsoever) just as a show of good faith, I decided to go ahead and show it now.

To date, there have been 225 raffle credits sold.

Rules for normal participation (IMPORTANT!)
  • Click the image above
  • Purchase any number of raffle entries you would like.
  • Provide a valid e-mail address that you do not mind sharing publicly.

Rules for referrals (IMPORTANT!)
  • Provide your e-mail address to a referral
  • When they purchase their raffle credits, they will receive an additional 5% credit for each credit they purchase.
  • You will receive an additional 25% credit for each credit purchased through the referral.

    Referral example:

You purchase 1 credit. You now have 1 raffle credit.
Friend 1 purchases 1 credit through your referral e-mail.
You now have 1.25 raffle credits. Friend 1 now has 1.05 raffle credits.
Friend 2 purchases 3 credits through your referral e-mail.
You now have 2 raffle credits. Friend 2 now has 3.15 raffle credits.

Deadline (IMPORTANT!)

  • A winner will be chosen 7 days from today's date and contacted through the e-mail address they provided at the time of entry.
  • The winner will be chosen in conjunction with random numbers provided by random.org across a spreadsheet of raffle credits.

Hmm.. with 225 Tickets sold (2 of them are mine), my Chance to win is a little less than 1%.
Compared to A lottery, this is a very good Chance.  Tongue

To date, there have been 225 raffle credits sold.

From what I can see, you have made 112.5 BTC from this raffle which averages out to $600 roughly speaking.
