The wallet finally synced and I checked it this morning. It had hundreds of stakes, about 5 stakes every minute but all were built on top of each other. Like there are no other nodes on the network to produce blocks.
So even though the older ones they are fully confirmed, I know they can't be real.
It's like the wallet is not communicating to find out about other blocks, eventhough I have loads of connections.
The yours is a well focused analysis, as ever.
Thanks for the update.
You must have a good machine, I thought a little more time.
Now to complete the curve I only need an estimate of the final time to complete the bootstrap.
As you said, when it finished the bootstrap should be left a few orphan block, and this gives us a time trace.
In rounding to the nearest ten minutes, in order to avoid identification of your address,
you may write the time of the first orphan block?
TIA
edit:
Have you looked at the block explorer lately?
I checked the last 500 blocks and the only address I saw staking was NSeqnrvMtNjtdyggY1HaYZikgnzbwWjwDa
wtf is going on?
Wow. Very impressive!
My TopStaker statistics show for him 505 stakes in a row.
I hope it take a little breath, or really it will need a pacemaker.
These are exceptional times, in many way.
