Pos reward is not given in a regular output. Check your network weight and you will see it is growing so your nwxt reward will be bigger.

Has anybody had any success importing the older wallet.dat into the new 4.0 wallet on a Mac? On my side it keeps crashing. After restarting new wallet a couple of times, it just ends up creating a new wallet. I can open the old wallet using the 3.6 software just fine.

It happened a lot to me on 4.0 wallet but not since 4.01

Don't have a Mac but could could open old wallet then do a snowballed on windscreen then one new wallet use a new wallet .dat and import keys.  A pain but that will work

First check the command line options

Upgrade wallet to latest format on startup


-salvagewallet
Attempt to recover private keys from a corrupt wallet on startup

these are used on a command line to modify how the qt file launches.

on the debug console

importprivkey "navcoinprivkey" ( "label" rescan )

so
importprivkey "blablablaba" ( "from Polo" rescan )

rescan reads the blockchain to restore old tx that sent to the pub key of this pri key

Hi mate, backup 4.0 wallet.dat and download 4.0.1 a few posts above there's an explanation of the folders you need to delete to re sync the blockchain.

This new version fixes a critical block validation issue which led to network incongruences between nodes on the last days.

EVERY 4.0 user should update to this version immediately.

INSTRUCTIONS TO UPDATE

1. Backup your wallet.
2. Close NavCoin Core if it is open.
3. Remove the folders 'chainstate' and 'blocks' from:
      WINDOWS ->  C:/Users/<USERNAME>/AppData/Roaming/NavCoin4/
      MAC -> ~/Library/Application Support/NavCoin2
      LINUX -> ~/.NavCoin2/
4. Download new version, install and run.

So we are talking about less than 1 nav here. At least in any case you didn't lose anything.

Assuming it's not an obvious mistake like the wrong address, I would suggest you download NAV electrum (so no more syncing) and import the private key from your nav 4.01 wallet to electrum. See what happens.

I've never used NAV electrum but I use it for bitcoin. I assume the functionality is the same.

Hi mate. Nav doesn't run a master node system but a cluster of servers: I don't know if you are interested in PoS or setting up NavTech to process private transactions.
PoS will give a return of 5% of your coins by having your QT open for stakes.
NavTech is up to you the amount of NAVs you want to process and the fees you will set up. Dev servers are in the 0.5% fee but there is a private server operator charging 0.25%.
The amount of coins you need to set up a server is proportional to the amount of coins you can process in an private transaction.

I would re sync from scratch mate...Back up wallet.dat and delete navcoin4 folder... re install everything and use the import wallet.dat option when u start the QT.
