do I really have to delete and resync everytime I update to a new wallet version? Cause it usually takes me overnight to resync the wallet.

Which version do you run? 4.0.1?

We just released NavCoin v4.0.1.

This new version fixes a critical block validation issue which led to network incongruences between nodes on the last days.

EVERY 4.0 user should update to this version immediately.

INSTRUCTIONS TO UPDATE

1. Backup your wallet.
2. Close NavCoin Core if it is open.
3. Remove the folders 'chainstate' and 'blocks' from:
      WINDOWS ->  C:/Users/<USERNAME>/AppData/Roaming/NavCoin4/
      MAC -> ~/Library/Application Support/NavCoin2
      LINUX -> ~/.NavCoin2/
4. Download new version, install and run.

I can't remember anymore if i did a resync at 4.0.1.1 but i don't think no.
If your balance is fine and you had no problems just take a fresh backup, close your 4.0.1 wallet and run 4.0.1.1 ?!

I bought more at 9K-10K because I believe it can go easily x10 or even x100. Compare with pivx and litecoin and etc ,NAV marketcap is very low.

There's no total supply since it's PoS. It's 5% per year if all wallets stake. Nowadays less than 50% are staking so I would say around 3% inflation per year.

Are you using wallet version 4.0.1.1? There were issues with 4.0 and 4.0.1, but 4.0.1.1 has been working seamlessly with no mention of a need for bootstrapping. My suggestion is to let the wallet sync itself. It is pretty quick now.

i agree , 4.0.1.1 wallet sync was really fast!!  we can wait segwit shapeshift and mobile wallets..+ other stuff for nav...
