300 sat a coin already is pretty damn high for a 100 mil coin with no proven tech yet. Obviously Drak is a well respected guy so people are buying in but I'd be getting a little nervous at this price.

Drak, will you just let it continue and allow any amount of people to buy in or will you put a limit on it if it gets silly. Stupid question I know because why would you limit the BTC in your pocket.

Already ~30 BTC in the IPO and still 6 days remaining. People buy this coin mainly because of Drak´s rep, but let´s see how much BTC are in the IPO at the last day. I fear it´s already overpriced.

A 30 btc marketcap would be overpriced  Huh

The mining production is very slow to start, so at the start we can assume the marketcap will be based very closely on the presale.
Yeah, there won't even be more mined coins than IPO coins until over 500 days after launch. Not sure how good of an idea that is.

Past experience has shown that IPOs are generally a bit overpriced.. Let's see what happens when the ASIC brigade joins in on the fun.

It will definitely run until at least the 15th but I don't know when it will close yet.

It's already been asked but ignored, I'll ask again. What advantages if any does this have over Syscoin?

I have no idea what Syscoin is. I first conceived of Viacoin back in October last year then got completely sidetracked with trading, then of course the whole China pump and dump happened. I became quite well known in trading circles during that time. I am in the middle of writing some blog posts which will explain everything in more detail.

btcdrak, how much will you be buying? I trust you but it would be an easy way to get free coin if you wanted.

Thanks

Yeah, with $20,000 already, reputation and trust only go so far.

That's a fair question and I have no way to prove my answer. I *totally* understand how skeptical people have become because of the daily scams on BCT.
Personally, the only presale I have participated in was Maidsafe and even that went terribly wrong despite their intentions. Anything can happen in crypto.

I am running this initial coin offering for a few reasons, the first is because I believe it is the best way to bootstrap a coin and the 'coin economy'.
As an experienced trader I know how coins get abused at launch and what whales are capable of. If you have ever read any of my pastebins, you'll have some
idea of this. As a developer I am aware of a myriad of ways to hide a premine and are a lot more easy than going through all the rigmarole of writing
dedicated presale software.

The second reason is I wanted bootstrap the project because frankly, I believe if it can't raise a decent sale value, then maybe it's not worth my time.
I've had this idea since October 2013 and for one reason or another I never got around to implementing it, and a lot of innovations have come along
in the meantime, but they still did not address my original concern. I am glad I waited however, because all good ideas should build on the shoulders
of proven innovations (which is exactly how Bitcoin came into being).

So my intention is to mine the coin and run a mining pool.

FWIW: I am also taking a lot of personal risk with this coin launch. It takes a long time to build reputation, and minutes to destroy.

How is 300 sat over priced? for a 10 million circulation coin to begin with, total amount is 90 odd million, but anyone working out market cap of a coin for coins that wont exist for many years is fucking retarded

How far along are you with these features? Do you have a roadmap?

Edit: just realised the ICO is valuing this project at over a million dollars, how can you justify this value?

how can you justify that maths? how is it being valued at over a million dollars

If the IPO made 100 btc it still wouldn't be valued at 1 million dollars
