i like the logo, but why do the hands have five fingers and a thumb.

they need AID... to get rid of that extra finger..  Cheesy

Or maybe we need to evolve. Smiley

lol..i didnt notice the hand thing. You guys should really consider recruiting a graphic designer for the logo and wallet design.

I also wanted to make a suggestion regarding the wallet for future development. I think it would be a benefit to Aidbit if we copied mastercoin and set up a decentralized distributed exchange built into the wallet. I know Monero is working on some kinda merchant feature for their wallet that's not out yet..but I believe this would make things even more simple for the common person trying to get into crypto and I believe that's kinda what aidbit is all about. http://wiki.mastercoin.org/index.php/Distributed_exchange

Actually we did, but he didn't deliver in time and we were using the logo from the start and it sort of grew on us.
Regarding the wallet design, everybody really loves it. We can improve it later, of course. Just today we were discussing the idea of built-in exchange but first things first, we really don't want to show all the cards at once. Smiley

Thank you for your ideas,

Only two of us are "computer guyz", in charge of support and PR. But I'll force the others to join and start to help. And frankly, not even us were very active here before. Smiley

I created an aidbit subreddit with links to this thread and your webpage and such. Got 3 members so far but looking forward to the influx after cryptsy. http://www.reddit.com/r/AidBit My best friend and roommate does freelance graphic design..I spent 2 years of college on it as well. I can do logos but not web, he can do both. http://transhumancreative.com/

I started doing thumbnails as soon as I realized the logo had extra fingers  Cheesy

Great, thank you. Actually in my honest opinion I think 6 fingers look lovely, especially if you notice it later! Smiley Think aliens, think higher intelligence, evolution... It also kind kind of reminds me of old Chinese coins. One of the team members had a bit of a problem with the "cross" in the middle...

It's hard to say at this point, since the reward is based on difficulty. But we will make some estimations, shortly.

Thank you for your question.

I have about 600 AID at the moment and would love to know what range of value I can expect. I have very limited hashing power and like to make it profitable.

I'm going to be the first to say it. People are going to add an "s" to the end of AID. That should be ok though, it can give people a good laugh, provide awareness for HIV and Aids, and get people talking about the coin.
I Agree..  Tongue

Once we are on an exchange, we could post a reddit thread with a title of something like "Free AIDS for the first 20 commenters" or something like that. Would gain us attention and publicity.

Also, we need a rich list in addition to the regular block explorer.

Quite catchy title, I must agree. Smiley Regarding the "rich list", we already discussed the idea; we will make it and it'll be most likely called top donators list.
