Any exchange yet

Some smaller exchanges like c-cex and coin swap already accepted us. We're aiming for Cryptsy, though. So please send a support ticket to https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new to help us get accepted.

Cheers,

V.

Dear AidBit community,

We are currently working on comprehensive FAQ section and we started with absolute basics like:

- What is Aidbit
- How do I send and receive AidBits
- How do I buy/sell AidBits. *we'll make a guide for Cryptsy
- Antivirus issues when installing
- Installation of wallet on multiple computers
- How do I start mining
- When do I get payed
- GPU mining issues

We would appreciate your suggestions on what to add to the FAQ section.

Thank you,

AidBit

How can we solve the antivirus issue with the wallet because to be honest the laymen is going to abort the installation if they see a warning from their antivirus. I almost did but I knew from past experience that sometimes it happens. I think the common person will miss out on experiencing our awesome wallet because they are afraid that it's all a scam to infect their computer.

There are multiple options but in our opinion the most appropriate would be to contact the AV companies and report false positives.
We already excluded the mining tools from the main install which fixed browser blocking. Also, signing the code could improve false detection by some degree.

Just my two cents...

It is very hard to get to Cryptsy. Even for a relatively old coin like Groestlcoin, for example.
I'd recommend trying for other large exchanges like poloniex or mintpal in the meantime.

If you don't get onto a large exchange soon, it might be really bad for the coin. You probably can see that the difficulty has dropped already.

And finally, perhaps you can put links to existing exchanges (even though they have zero volume).

I suggest mintpal or bittrex. Cryptsy does have a lot of volume but its not the only exchange with good volume.

Due to AidBit's dynamic block reward, low diff isn't necessary a very bad thing for the coin. We do realize, that we have to get accepted to a larger exchange soon and are doing as much as we can to speed up the process. Regarding the smaller exchanges, we will list them in OP shortly. Thank you very much for your input.

I'm getting a connection time out error on my pc. But, I just checked with some online services and they report it is OK. So, the problem must be with my provider. Possibly a bad DNS entry that has remained in their name server.

Most likely, because on our end everything seems fine.

So I started using bittrex and its way better than cryptsy imo. Nice design and easy to use. Have you tried bittrex to see if they would accept aidbit? Also I would like to give a warning too about organised pump n dumps going on right now in most major exchanges.

"10% of each block reward goes to a special charity account
No premine* (3% of each block reward goes to developers) – To provide stable backbone on launch, (pools, block explorers, website integration, etc...), due to the system's design, a few hours premine at diff 1 may be necessary. Every coin premined will go to charity. "

Any charity yet or still working on it?  If I missed it through your website, I apologize, please advise, nothing really transparent though atm.

Sorry for late reply, somehow I missed your post. We're currently working on basic user experience and trading. As soon as we get accepted to a larger exchange, we will start with a major marketing operation. At the same time our charity works will begin. Regarding the transparency, it'll be our highest priority.

Thank you for your questions,

AidBit
