could anyone summarise what's special about it?
have the devs lived up to their promises?

Any hidden problems -
premines?
instamines?
well distributed? is there a rich list?
buggy code?
are these are hard core programmers, not "copy-paste" devs or middlemen? When bugs/fork challenge pop up, are they fixed quickly?
dev squabbles?
dev complacency?
missed deadlines?
Is the entirte dev team anonymous -- and even if so, does it at least have a solid reputation here on bitcointalk?

How about NO.  The exchanges can list any coin they want whenever they want.  The developer has no say in it.  Also why wait until block 10000 anyway unless you are waiting for miners and multipools to start dumping their coins?

then mining cost will hit 6k satoshi, minging hash rate can only reach about

I believe BtcDrak wants to simulate what Bitcoin & Litecoin did unintentionally, by making only the people that see potential in this buy into it, then with later announcements.. the herd will follow- sort to speak.  IMO possibly the best thing you can do to the coin economy, let people that know the value of it the most stick around for awhile before they consider selling, like filtering out the bad and keeping the backbone to keep it going.

I have not seen developer yet not deliver on what he has said.  Again, I feel like he's moving very fast (these claims are evident in the thread).
