I'm on a mac but after installing this new version I still see the same version number v0.10.1.0-g07dfc4c. Same goes if I check in the console (get info). Please advise.

Hey Converge, I got the same thing so I'm sure its a known issue or will be very shortly.  Best to keep watching this thread for an update on OSX.

Just wanted to inform that http://via.minerpools.com has already updated to the latest viacoin source.

EDIT: Guys, spread the hash, 80% of nethash is at 1gh... there's plenty of pools to choose from.

The blocks  42513 - 42587 that the pool found all went to orphan.  Just wondered what happened.?

I have requested exchanges to suspend trading for a day while we investigate some network issues which are causing viacoin nodes to ban other viacoin nodes causing some network isolation.

I will keep you up to date on the blog, but I feel this was the most responsible thing to do to ensure the integrity of the network.
