    1-120: 1 SDC (Fair launch)

 Cry

Fair launch for ASICs. I'm out.

you mean for renting, the new "asic"

Everyone can own, buy or rent any rigs they choose. There is nothing unfair about scrypt algo. What people call "fair" is anything that gets them a lot of coins with almost no cost...how is that fair again?

Nice and cool in my part of the world, I prefer to run scrypt.

The coin launches in under 2 hours Smiley

The code will be pushed to https://github.com/SDCDev/sdcoin a few minutes prior to launch Smiley
Right now it's just a fork there.

http://sdcoin.chickenstrips.net is ready for pre-registrations.  Stratum is set to max difficulty 20k with starting diff 512, but min diff 16 for the folks mining with gpu's and cpu's.  This should be able to handle your asics, gpus, and cpus no problem.  I'll be around if you folks need anything.

Alright it wasn't a deliberate attack, just some guys mining incorrectly spamming the stratum with junk.  I banned the ip's and things should be fine for now.

Miners wouldn't connect to coin-miners after 1 block, but after 5 or so minutes it suddenly started working again and we're hitting steady blocks for the moment.
