Bittrex admins have been really busy lately, so at the request of some SDC investors, I decided to check Shadowcoin's code. I'm not related to Bittrex at all, just giving my personal opinion here.
First of all the dev seems very competent, I can't find any issues or missed edits that he hasn't already fixed.
The code itself looks good, there are no hidden blocks or other tricks, it's clean and straightforward.
The biggest problem I've seen in POW --> POS coins is not having a POS checkpointing server set up properly (I've fixed 5 or 6 other coins with this issue.) Shadowcoin has a proper functioning POS checkpointing server and the POW end code is correct also.
Everything looks good to me.

Why cut the POW so short?
I only just started mining this coin yesterday =(
People are saying there's only 20gh on known pools? That is incorrect as sd.minerpools has nearly 50gh/s?
Lets go to at least 35k blocks, pretty please?

I get the idea of newbie account to include coin name.......but if your not scamming you should let every know your other I.D's on this forum so they can check you out.....as for me I'll watch this new coin same as I watch many others........give it 6 months or so and see if it delivers......Cheers and good luck |

I get the idea of newbie account to include coin name.......but if your not scamming you should let every know your other I.D's on this forum so they can check you out.....as for me I'll watch this new coin same as I watch

The ONLY thing this coin has done is deliver...watch away mate!YES it has delivered...for a whole 2 weeks......I just see so many coin being released OK What I keep watching for is innovation...not cut and paste. And the big one.......someone who comes up with real world usage.....Not just trading on exchanges.....I trade ...it's just another market.....but I would love to see crypto enter the real world..... like pay the rent with it....we've got a long way to go yet....as I said good luck, I hope this coin makes it |

PoS accounted for many pow blocks. Do you even understand how pow PoS works? Type getinfo in console... There's only 6.3 million coins total supply,,and pow ends today |
