Did I say "I can post one address and send money to it and it is the same as stealth?" no .. I said "I can easily do that myself without a stealth address i.e. create a new address and send money to that. (yes I know the benefits of stealth that it automates a new public address everytime but I am trying to understand how it provides anon" Stealth hides the amount of money any person (address) has received.
No it does not .... all stealth does it provide "a new address" to the receiver (if I really care I can check the block chain and tell you which address those funds arrived in if I know 1. the sender or 2. denomination) ... in the block chain funds still move "visibly" via none-stealth public addresses which if you happen to spend makes it linkable... Dont troll with a "sr." account...its not becoming. Are you for real? I will wait for someone who understand what they are talking about to respond to me.  haha...dev snuck in active buttons in QT wallet. "but QT does not support active labels" - dev dont give a fuck, dev made buttons active. Click the lock icon - wallet unlocks This coin is too cool...little improvements everywhere along with the HUGE innovations. love it |

The stealth system was first described by Peter Todd for use with Bitcoin but to our knowledge, we have developed the first open source C++ implementation of Anonymous Stealth Addresses using OpenSSL. A version of stealth addresses has been implemented by SX and DarkWallet, but our implementation has been developed completely independent of either project. We have developed Dual-Key Stealth Addresses, which allow transactions to be received even while the wallet is closed, and for security, the coins will not be spendable until the wallet is unlocked. Our stealth solution has been developed for ShadowCoin but we believe that our implementation is the best currently available and will be used for bitcoin in the near future. This week we will be releasing ShadowSend, a capable, efficient and decentralized anonymous wallet solution that does not rely on coinjoin or any centralized node structure. This wallet will allow transactions to remain anonymous while the stealth address system is used. ShadowSend's stealth addresses will soon be layered with zk-snarks to further increase security and privacy of the anonymous solution, this will be the first system of its kind available in bitcoin or altcoins. Because 75% of the volume were 2 dumps and then a whale buying their own large sell walls. The remaining volume are from the few legit people left in the altcoin scene still trying to make a buck. I regret to inform the few left that stealth addresses are not the anon most people are looking for either. Hopefully in due time the devs will address this. |
