How can I "mine" Storj?
Storjcoin X (SJCX) cannot be mined. We use "farming" to describe being a DriveShare node of the Storj Network where you share your free storage space in exchange for a reward. To get up to speed we recommend having a read through our FAQ at http://storj.io/faq.

EverdreamSoft is happy to announce their collaboration with Storj and the launch of a special blockchain-based trading card, exclusively designed for Storj, playable within Moonga and Spells of Genesis games. The SJCXCARD, playable as “Storj Library” can only be obtained by using Storjcoin X and there will ever be 1000 units. You can purchase the 1st SJCXCARD ever for only SJCX 54 (equivalent of USD 1), then the price will gradually increase, topping at USD 30 after 200 cards sold. To learn more about our blockchain-based trading cards read the whole thread here.

Whats up ? Most of the buying orders left the book..
Everyone wants to get 10000 sjcx to join test and start farming. I need one or two addresses to share drives from two different locations? And if two, how can i change address on place №2? Need to run build command again with new address or just poll?

Thanks. Add, please, function of automatic reconnection at a rupture of connection. Whether now it is necessary to check manually dataserv-client stopped or not.

I read most of this thread and many more sources, still, the available info seems to be quite shallow. 1) http://driveshare.org/dataserv.html says 1099 TB available, still the 1 PB milestone is not reached? 2) The whole 1099 TB offered/stored data is testdata? 3) If I was to install the driveminer and give it 1 TB space, it would receive testdata until "Testgroup B" is finished? 4) "Testgroup B" will receive 1M SJCX when 1 PB is reached, which would get me 1k SJCX for 1 TB storage? 5) Obviously there won't be deoamd for 1 PB storage when Metadisk is released. So the reward will go to 1 SJCX per TB or the like? 6) So, would it work now for me? Dropping excess space into driveminer and receive SJCX? If I got the 10k SJCX as a ticket beforehand? 7) Any problem with first starting with an empty SJCX/BTC adress, testing stuff, and using a loaded SJCX adress later on? Also, what's with http://driveshare.org/status.html? Hard to believe 10 users are providing exactly 24.41 TB each? There is remarkably little real-world-user-feedback anywhere online. I am sceptical, an elaborate scam would look exactly the same like this. Ente

Cool Also, what's with http://driveshare.org/status.html? Hard to believe 10 users are providing exactly 24.41 TB each? Its a simple ... really that are some people having somewhat larger drive storage available. That is btw the maximum size allowed for those in the test group, you are not allowed to go over 25 TB per test address It might be lifted or lowered during the next test programs at will by the developers But I think its a good thing. But your free to start up another counterwallet address fund it with 10.000 sjcx minimal and run another instance with 24.41 Tb or in reality build the 199,999 shards with the program However many think its a milkcow project.. let me ensure you its not. The goal is to get a cheaper alternative storage solution for people to use, if you rented space like me from the large ones you probably welcome this project as well. Time will tell which one will be the best solution or if any of them becomes a succes

Makes sense, thanks for the info. Ah, back in the days clever (or "clever") admins used others hardwae to cpu-mine, today they use unused storage? I'd like to have that much capacity at my disposal.. :-)
I'll wait for some more input from a dev before I jump onboard though. Especially as that's a large sum for an altcoin to invest just to be allowed to play..

You missed the crowdsale, this is just to allow a few extra people in the Test Group. If you just want to help us collect data, please do run the software. No SJCX required to do so.
