Wow. Did not expect something like this. Still have 5492 FAIR and will keep it till i don't know. I won't lose much if that's the wrong decision. But i could win alot if it is the right one. Thx for all the work and for still believing in FAIR.

because it's not a secret anymore who is all involved in this Project this 30 minute presentation of Michel Bauwens could be very interesting for all. He doesn't mention Faircoin and Faircoop directly but you can easily get what he means now;)

I am ... surprised.. and confused. Not really sure what to think about all this but I wish you much success.

I just downloaded the wallet (windows , binary, 64bit).

It looks good.

Some small things that you might check/improve:

1. In the OP the wallets to download (the binaries) are somewhat hard to find. I am used to click the first link which speaks about wallet and ended up in the github despiratly looking for binaries.

2. Installers are not everyones taste. Especially not in crypto and when they need admin rights. I don't trust installers.
So it might be helpfull to also put up a zip pack for manual install. You can unpack the installer with 7Zip and pick out the files like I did it but not everyone knows that and knows which files to pick.

3. The config file:
Does it has to be Faircoin.conf or Faircoin.info .. I still have both (windows) from my old wallet and have not found the info which one is right on the page where I downloaded the wallet and nighter in the readme.
(edit: just saw it's mentioned ont he webpage)

4. Why is there a readme.txt included that talks about novacoin instead FairCoin?

Thanks for your feedback. I'm commenting on your wallet issues:

• The correct download link for the wallet is mentioned 3 times before any github link, so this should be OK. But one is for sure, the OP need a major rework. We'll take care of that.
• We decided remove the binaries to decrease the download size. Although, we will add those files back in the next wallet release.
• ok...

Launching FairSaving project

Hello everybody, This project has been launched and we are going to us this groups to coodinate it.
Next monday will begin a crowdfunding campaign in www,coopfunding.net with two confirmed ways:
– donation to a fund
– 50% donation, 50% investment in fairsaving.

Also, we are studying how to implement a more p2p way to create ethical faircoin savings for collectives. The idea would be that any collective member of fair.coop can add himself in the fair.coop campaign, so the people can donate to this project in order to have a collective account in fairsaving. What do you think about this idea?

At least something, huh? I bet you would have told me the same when the price was at 80 satoshi. And btw. as I've mediated in my posting before, I don't care. Was just checking for fun and I've never expected that it would go over 250 again. Back then it was about 6k satoshi. I had 18,000 FAC. I even gave away 5k for free.

I apologise from now, but I just remembered I still held some Faircoin from way back when it was launched - and promptly forgot about it until I opened up an old rig today.

If someone can sum up for me a good reason to keep hold of what I have, that would be great.
I had planned on simply selling it, but given a strong reason to keep it, then I'd be happy to reconsider.
