To celebrate reaching 10,000 BTC wagered -- I've released an entirely rewritten front end logic, that is far less buggy -- and we're on the verge of releasing a javascript bot api =)

Question... (I may be missing something, it's been a few days since I lost all my bits) however why did Ostrow betting 222 and stopping @ 250x only win 250 and yujinbojee betting 10 and stopping @ 150.01x only win 150.01?

That was a ui bug, echoing back what they stopped at rather than their profit. They actually got 250x their money and 150x respectively.

Actually, Steve has been so kind as to fix the problem and it's already been deployed in the game!

Wow that's crazy. if someone bet 2 units and waited for x80,000 (which is crazy too). it would have been nuts! (222 x250 is about the same wow!).

If there was an active bet, it wont have gone to 89k.....eventually you will loose, stay away from it.

Ah, so you are the guy claiming that MP isn't provably fair. Do you have any proof to backup that claim?

It's best to ignore him, he's obviously wrong -- the game outcome was decided before anyone joined -- and long before I knew when anyone would cash out. If I were cheating, this is certainly not how I'd do it...

Is that essentially an 8 minute game? From basically about the 2nd full minute on, I'd be of the mindset that it was broken.

Espringe, what is the highest the game has ever gone?

I'd be interested to know what the highest anyone has ever cashed out at. Do you have the stats available for that?

I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.

I played. Addictive for sure. Won 1/2 BTC in like 20 min then cashed out.

Quit when you're ahead!

If there was an active bet, it wont have gone to 89k.....eventually you will loose, stay away from it.

The crash point is decided before any betting happens, and its hash is shown to all players.

In other words you are pretty much wrong, and that game would have gone to 89k whether or not there was an active bet (except that the house has a limit of 2 BTC per game that it pays out - if the remaining active bets every get to the point that they would cause the total house loss to reach 2 BTC, then everyone is auto-cashed-out at that point, and so the game would only have gone to 89k if the total active bet was 22 bits or less).

stay away from it.

try it yourself! Goodluck!

Your advice seems contradictory. Should I stay away or try it myself?

Here's a permalink to some interesting pages:

After the death of the great white tux, btcpizza is a true inspiration. At one point, he was down something like -5.2 BTC -- but like the soldier he is, he never gave up and kept playing until he got it over 10 BTC (of course, since then he's lost a few bitcoin, but I suspect we haven't heard the last of him just yet)

You're merging my replies from 2 different posts. I had no intention to spread fud or talk bad about it, I just generally said that.

Whoever says they won the greed will take them back to money pot and as I said eventually you will loose, I have lost good amount of BTC, having said that I am not saying that I never won I did but played again and again and eventually lost.
