I was very excited that you knew all the executive managers and board of directors at Paypal when I read that it will be integrated, as Paypal is extremely notorious for almost not allowing anything to be bough/sold and since you stated that it would be integrated I actually thought that perhaps you were one of the directors.

Only this seems not to be the case. From what I understand you did not even contact the legal department of Paypal yet, is that correct? The very first thing you need to do is get in touch with the board of directors of Paypal, explain your business plan and get a written approval that you are allowed to buy/sell cryptocurrency, otherwise your account will be blocked by Paypal within a very short time.

As long as you don't have specific, written confirmation of the board of directors of Paypal, I really wouldn't waste any time trying to implement it, as it will be blocked almost immediately.

See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_Bitcoins_(the_newbie_version)#PayPal for more information about Paypal and Bitcoin, which you really should have researched before telling everybody that you will integrate it.

That said, I do like your coin and wish you all the best, but again, don't waste any time with Paypal until you have a written confirmation from the Board of Directors.

Thanks for that link. PayPal is not widely used in my part of the world so never knew it had so many issues. Maybe those PayPal regulations were before eBay CEO said that he is interested in Bitcoin. But this has made me think of an even better solution. According to most of you, PayPal doesn't allow merchants doing business with Bitcoin. So let us give out Gift Cards. Certainly PayPal allows the buying of Gift Cards/Vouchers right?
Once our users make a purchase for the amount of SFR they wish to buy through PayPal, we will email them a SFR Gift-Card/Voucher containing a unique code. Entering that code into your wallet will have the amount of SFR you purchased transferred to you within some time. So here PayPal is only used by you to buy Gift-Cards/Vouchers which i feel they have no problems with. I don't think it matters to them that those Vouchers will be used to get digital currencies. They say not to use their service for buying/selling digital currencies, ok we are not. We are just issuing some Gift-Cards/e-Cards/Vouchers. Also we are doing this business under "digital goods and services" which does include virtual Gift-Cards.  Wink

In this way i guess everyone is happy and we meet the regulations.

What do u think?

- You can forget about paypal for now as they just dont allow it. you can try but when they find out (and they find out fast if money starts coming in) your account will be blocked for at least a year!

- You can probably forget about creditcard as well. If you are lucky you can find one who allows you to do this with 3d secure, but if you find one you probably end up with a 10%+ fee per transaction + a rolling reserve of 10%+.

Above options are only possible for the short term, so till you get caught and your money is lost and/or frozen.

Paypal is busy with accepting certain adult sites, like porn.com now, but they ask for a 10% fee per transaction (for merchants).

Just look at bitcoin, there isnt a single site in the worl who accepts creditcards or paypal, at least no 100% legal sites! And the ones that do accept ask for giant fees to cover chargebacks and stuff like that.

You can better focuss on alternative payment option like ideal, sofort, european direct debit and stuff like that. Only downside of that is that those payment options can already be used directly on porn sites, but it will be something...

and maybe pay by phone is a good option as well to start with although most psp's dont accept cryptos as well.

Didn't a 5 second look and hustler.com accepts credit cards, bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin. I know most adult sites DO accept credit cards processed by the main adult cc processors like ccbill and epoch. They have been around a long time. Not sure what they charge in fees.
porn.com accepts cc, bitcoin, wankcoin and bill by phone.

Great I forgot about that, potcoin does gift cards too. So it obviously works. Thanks for pointing that out.

regarding gift cards, coupons, vouchers and so on; its less risky but again just a matter of time before they shut you down.

its forbidden to use paypal (and any other payment method) as an indirect way to pay for things they do not allow!

so using it for coupons is ok but if you use these coupons for stuff they dont allow they close down your account immediately.

it probably works fine untill there is a dispute. then they will check you site and you are fucked.

trust me when i say that the porn industry has already tried these kinds of tricks.

You do have a point. But again, there was an article regarding the new CEO of paypal leaning towards the use of bitcoin.

Technically, you are selling "vouchers," which complies with paypal "online giftcards" rule.

There are a lot of grey areas with the use of paypal. How bout confirming with other coins that are currently using it atm?

yes, in time they will probably accept it as they will have no choice if bitcoin gets bigger. if bitcoin will be huge then paypal will become obsolete. that is why they always leave the option to adopt it, but this can take years.

but dont forget that xxxcoin targeting adult business. this places another big "avoid" stamp onto it for payment providers.

and if you sell the vouchers then you are responsible for all places where you can use those vouchers. basically every place who accept those vouchers will be your merchants. and paypal will force you to add some kind of terms of use for your merchants. so if one of those merchants sells forbidden stuff they breach your rules.

thats why you can not use ebay giftcards for those kind of stuff. and yes it works in the grey area...but once the first dispute comes in you will be fucked. and trust me with paypal you get a lot of disputes!

you have a lot of similar constructions who have all been tried in the past. for example porn sites asked their customers to become a member of site x and as a bonus they would get free access to illegal site x.

or they say, buy this painting and you can exchange that painting into a premium membership.

or donate on this crowdfunding project and get free access to x in return...and so on.

the  payment providers will all see this as a breach of contract.

Hi Guys,

Been away for a while.

Sushi could ask https://www.litebit.eu/en/ to add XxXCoin and using https://www.paysafecard.com/en-us/ worldwide payments should be accepted.

Some time ago i even found they have a API for payment integration. Contact them and find out.

simplify the process of "buying" XXXcoins with bitcoin, that would boost acceptance, as there is plenty of ways to get bitcoin.

you might want to try to gett added on  www.moolah.io

and im pretty sure these guys would add it : http://www.altaccept.com/

Thanks! great suggestion about the paysafecards. I used them a lot when I did not want my bank involved (you can buy them almost everywhere). That I have not thought of that before Cheesy This does not make buying XxXcoin easier but we can sell XxX credits (on the site to non crypto users) for fiat with this very easy. We will be looking into all suggestions that were given coming week. This is one of our prio's.

The weekend is going really well and we can only grow from here. On IRC more and more models are showing up and participating in the discussion (giving feedback, asking questions about crypto, etc) which is good and we would like to thank all for helping them and answering all the hard questions!

----- WINNER(S) MEME CONTEST -----

Last night we did not sleep because we had to count all the votes for the meme contest. After three recounts and heavy discussions about the validity of some (misspelling, no date, missing signatures) we can announce it is a DRAW. Both entry's had the same amount of votes (0) and we decided to let them share the price.

Dear daemonfox and tr8kr would you both be so nice to contact me threw PM to discuss when and how you will be getting your price! You will both get 5 minutes of private time with a model of your choosing. ENJOY!

The discussion was technically speaking about the currency of XxXcoin. I like your suggestion but would suggest to loose the Coin at the end. Also it should be multiple equis (x's) do you know the translation to that?

Last time Mymenace suggested Kisses, which I personally also liked (because XxX originates from Kisses. Say when you say it "I give you 25k kisses" and when you write it "25.000 XxX")

After 1,5 months it is time to get a organization chart with clear insight into our structure. We started working on this and expect a visual representation within a couple of days.

To get everything structured in the right way we decided to make different work groups that will have they're own task and specialty. We will describe the work groups and ask everyone with expertise to apply. For each work group there will be a work group manager chosen which will report to one of the team managers assigned to the work group:

---------

PR:
Main workload will be discussing PR strategy and helping out with social media activity

Cam Community:
We are planning to connect with the Cam Community. To make this a success we are going to setup different "things" (sharing when it is done) and help them within the Crypto Community

Merchants/websites:
This work group will focus on merchants and websites that are related to the adult entertainment industry and camscene in particular. This will start with research and then approaching

Coin developments:
To keep the coin up to date we will be doing different updates on the code. We are (still) looking for skilled people that can assist on future updates

Future projects:
After we have made our success within the Cam Community we will go and bring our coin to other business within the AEI

----------

If you want to help us out and take part within a work group you can apply by sending me a message. Please provide some details about your skills and specialty. This is not a definite list of groups and the possibility exists that more will be added.

You can apply for more then one work group but would advise to stick to one first. When you have more free time after that you're always welcome to join a different group.

Untill now around 10 people are going to be involved in any particular work group. Once we have set up all things we will make a announcement about it later this week.

You can still join! PM
