I've downloaded the new Windows QT and opened the wallet, but no connections are found/wallet can't sync.

I see that my XCN folder lacks a .conf file; I imagine its inclusion would help a lot.

Can you please post a working XCN .conf file??

Looks like it is dead. The sync of blockchain just 1 node exists and running very low syncing rate. Also the client seems to get no support nor any active development going on here.
Maybe its the last sign before this crypto is dead. Not even proper documentation of the client/wallet software.
