Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm a pretty big Voot holder (about halfway up the top 100, not a whale but enough where the mass dump hurt. A lot. ) The Smoketeam should open the exchange up for selected users to test and play with. Same goods for the Cloud project and the market project. I'd be willing to be a beta tester. If we have people on here posting about their experiences using this stuff, even if there are bugs and it is still in the suck stage, this would build confidence because everyone would know something is going on at least. Basically people just don't people believe screen shots, etc. anymore. I sure don't. Another coin ($PayPro) scammed out today and vaporized people's investment. Urocoin creates a new fake Photoshop every week of an invoice or whatever. Small update: Smoke time will probably wake up in 12 hours (AFAIK that's when they logged in to bitcointalk last time and the one before it). I am hoping to get reply from them at that time. I've asked to get access to beta of the exchange. Also, remember, that if you have any questions, that you would like me to ask them, feel free to post them here.
+1, they should give some ppl to public test, it can prove they are really doing things. Report development progress in time is also important. |

top 100 is changing rapidly. people are taking advantage of the sale. if i don't keep on buying, which is getting harder for me, then i would be out of the 100 in a few days. i am pushed down 6 places in last few hours. |

If the Smoketeam people check-in me and some friends are going to go on a buying spree ... Do the Smoke people any special bonus or reward for getting things done ASAP? I know they got paid before but maybe some extra sugar is needed. Also, although real programmers want everything perfect to we investors a buggy but-being-fixed-ASAP alpha version is way more valuable than promises and screen shots. There's going to be a 1000 bugs once the general public gets on the Exchange anyway no matter how perfect they try to make it because I assume they don't have a room full of QA people. (BTW, Who exactly controls the Vootcoin budget? )
