George, thank you for everything.  I'm well aware you've had to work your arse off on this.

I haven't even started yet, just wanted to show the community that I really mean it.

And I also do all that for myself: spreadcoin is the best opportunity for me to start a crypto related career.

(I am a selfemployed programmer since more than 10 years now, and I guess it's about time to start a serious secondary business.
Being my own boss gives me the necessary flexibility. )

EDIT: looks like we are going to do the update in 24 hours, but everybody keep PM me about your preferences (24 or 36 hours)!

We think its the road map for the project and which ServiceNode services (applications) are going to be worked on first.

Also, we should be moving off this thread, seeing a new website and a new forum.

I was going to wait to speak to the devs, but what the hell - you hard core miners might be interested in joining an IRC chat on this one.

I have had a short exchange with Sy, a moderator from Litecointalk. He seems a pretty decent chap.

He operates a mining monitor which might be quite useful for anyone with lots of solo mining machines.

He is open to discussions about adapting his cgmining monitoring software to run on sgminer / SpreadX11.

From what I can tell, its pretty good value, 1 LTC (that might change if he does something for Spreadcoin). Looking up his Litecointalk page, he hosts the software and it pulls information from your miner. You then view the status of your miners online under your account.

If your miners have any issues, you get sent an email  Cool

https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=4011.0

The IRC chat is to just discuss the possibility of using the monitoring software, what might be involved from his end and for him to gauge any interest.

I suppose if he does anything, he might end up doing it for any x11 coin, which would make more sense for him from a financial perspective.

Out of courtesy for his offer to host an IRC session this week, I will contact Sy and suggest an IRC session on Monday (he switches off from work mode at weekends, apparently).

9pm GMT

how does that suit anyone that wants to participate?

Feel free to contact Sy on IRC

Thought it was Georgem. But I am pretty sure i'm wrong.

Edit:
Here is a PM from Mr. Spread. (it was a group message)

georgem has registered spreadcointalk.[org/net/com] and is going to make a forum and e1ghtSpace has already created a forum but on a different address: http://spreadcointalk.site90.net/
I think you can cooperate on the forum so we will not end up with two different forums.
We will need some styling especially if will use "simple machines" engine so that people will not get confused where they are - on bitcointalk or spreadcointalk.

Edit 2: Oh wait, I can't read, that was spreadcointalk...

You can buy it cheaper on the actual website.

Someone, or groups of people, hawk altcoin .coms as soon as ANN as published. In most cases they actually beat the DEV to the punch -_-

Certain key words ______coin.com are already gone without the coin even existing..yet lol

Yep, that's what squatters do, we shouldn't be surprised that a shark has sharp teeth...

I'm sorry to say, but I blame Mr.Spread...

He showed his carelessness on many occassions. (losing his wallet, getting banned for 2 weeks, finally disappearing completely, etc...)

If you read the first maybe 30 pages of this thread you will see that he already shared his groundbreaking ideas while still uploading the wallets to dropbox or mega...  Huh

He could have so easily registered spreadcoin.com (or better yet .org) during those first weeks, for what... 10$ a year? You can easily register domains by paying with bitcoin.

In hindsight it looks like Mr.Spread was very surprised (maybe even overwhelmed) that spreadcoin caught so many people's attention... and yes, also the attention of these domain squatters.

Anyway... I'll gladly continue the work of this genius, but with a little bit more integrity and reliability.  Wink

Oh yeah, and then painted it purple. Smiley I didn't really see that before.

I am going to try to work on creating a 3D servicenode (oh yeah, smartnode does sound pretty bad).
