200 sat coming soon
Trying to spread panic? Nice try, but I'm not impressed at all and certainly not gonna dump because of some kiddo trying to find a cheap entrance to a coin.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hello Checkcoin Comrades,

Just wanted to give you a small update. This week will be all about spreading more awareness for Checkcoin. We are releasing some articles and launching a thunderclap campaign (see: thunderclap.it). That aside we'll do everything we can to show you some new footage. While things might seem a bit quiet over here we want to assure everybody that our team is working around the clock, all so that we can make sure to stick to our current deadlines when it comes to releasing Checkcoins software.

Best regards,

Maurice,

Having a Thunderclap campaign is a brilliant idea! Didn't really know what Thunderclap was lol, just checked out the site and it looks pretty impressive.
It's gotta be one of the most efficient ways out there to spread the word about Checkcoin. Good call team!  Smiley

Guys, I just got home from a party. Various people talked to me about a game called "Ingress" it's an augumented reality game developed by Google, where essentially the world is your playground.
More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingress_%28game%29

It's steadily gaining adoption, the people I talked to went apeshit over it. Basically it allows you to play a game in "the real world" using landmarks as points of interest on your mobile phone. I asked them if there was any reward which you can trade in for cash or goodies and whatnot, they sad "sadly you can't, that's the only thing thats lacking"

What is the significance of this? First of all, I talked to about 10 people so I'm hard pressed to generalize my findings to the general public at this point in time. But can you see how this pertains to the potential of Checkcoin?  Checkcoin will be the linking pin between these kind of games, social networks and cryptocurrency. The incentive for the adoption of Checkcoin's technology is there.

I explicitly withheld any info about Checkcoin as the platform hasn't fully matured yet, but trust me there is a huge untapped market out there.

Hold on to your coins, be patient. Don't be tempted to sell early. It may take 6 months who knows, but this will be epic. Rest assured that I will market the heck out of CKC when the time is right.

Thanks for making me discover that game.I can exactly see how CheckCoin could be usefull into it.
But unlikely that there will ever be a link between them tho.

If it turns out to become some sort of virtual reality app (which I hope), I'm gonna spend a significant amount of my savings to buy this beauty  Cheesy
But I wouldn't mind also if CKC would be used in a way like Bitrunner was planning

And what happened to bitrunner ?
They couldn't get a fund raised (like $12-15k if I remember well) and I haven't seen any activity since then.

Ok, because essentially, there will be some kinds of same principles applying to CheckCoin I imagine.

Hi guys. I'd like to support this coin, the concept is great and has a lot of potential.

It seems the focus is on finding or placing coins on rare places (such as on top of the Mt Everest). Although this is a great thing I think the real benefit of CKC could be for merchants to offer an incentive to attract customers to their store. It can also be used to give discounts on products by giving out CKC on sales. I'm sure there are many ways to get this one adopted and actually creating practical use for it on the ground.

In SecondLife there used to be a way to earn L$ by camping. People would simply sit at a place and get some coins while time passes. Traffic is very important for businesses. I think the same idea could be implemented into cryptocoins, perhaps in CKC but there should be an app for it. Another way to give out coins is through a sploder that gives out coins randomly in a certain timeframe. Even if people do not know CKC they could get a mesage that they can pickup some free coins by installing the app.

Anyhow, i'll be around sometimes. Will add my support to Thunderclap with Twitter @CryptoTraders once it's launched. Thanks.

Just an idea on what you mentioning: A restaurant where people can check (randomly) and if they pay the check there in an QR-code with link to checkCoin recreation site where the can download the App and collect their reward in a time frame. The restaurant can send them some CKC and offering a "special time" when they can change their CKC for a "special CKC menu". The special time for the restaurant important becouse there are silant time-frames when there are not much people to come to the restaurant 16:00 hour CKC-menu.
It was just a brain wave for free

Your choice, but Supernet is the first out of the gate and James has a solid track record in the Nxt world. The reason why he raised so much money so quickly was because his rep amongst Nxt whales is effectively golden.

If Blocknet beats Supernet launch-wise, I would be wondering how thin Blocknet is tech-wise with respect to Supernet - but that's just me. Smiley

reading up on blocknet, it seems they already have swift. ckc doesn't really fit in there.
i think it's likely an attempt at cashing in on the supernet hype. i personally would classify half the coins as pump and dump scams.

Just curious if this buy support (wall) is real. It seems to stick a bit above the initial ICO price. Seems like a whale is either stacking up on the slow dumps or he is trying to sell his coins above the ICO price at a very slow pace. Thoughts? Anyone who has been checking the Richlist movement aswell?
