Dear BearBear (nomen est omen?).
I got nothing against a good portion of scepsis and comments, but I think you're not involved in checkcoin at all.
Why you show up again to show your concerns, I don't know, but I don't think your posts are taken serious here.
Talking for myself, I don't care at all what you are stating.
If you want checkcoin to succeed, become part of it and buy yourself in.
If you're just around here to try to bring a decent project down (which your name indicates), don't waste your and our time and move over to another thread.

In the meantime we as shareholders will be visiting BitSend soon and see and judge for ourselves.

Join the #Checkcoin discussion over at IRC

We have opened #Checkcoin for all project related questions or talks (thank you evoked). For anyone who wants to join the Checkcoin discussion or would like to speak to a Bitsend team member directly (most of them will be active between 10:00 GMT +1 and 17:00 GMT +1)

See you on the other side!

Maurice

Bitsend
Why haven't I seen anyone of the BitSend team around the #checkcoin channel today?
I must say that I am a bit disappointed as Evoked had to set up a few things that were not configured right yesterday.

Annoying power outage in our area, we got cut off from the digital world around 11.00 GMT +1.

Ouch, that's really annoying. especially for a firm that depends on electricity. Ok, I hope to see you there then when things are ok again.
Btw if you want to keep in contact even in a case of power outage : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androirc&hl=nl  Wink

Sorry to say, but I lost my faith in CKC. Not in the idea behind it, that's still a golden opportunity, but in the team behind it.

My intuition has always been my best advisor and now it told me to jump of this train and go looking for a better organised altcoin community.
I can live with inexperience, but the plain clumsiness I have been experienced since I joined the ico, really makes me doubt about the capability of BitSend to deliver the app I was hoping for.

The straw that broke the camel for me was the so-called power outage yesterday in Dronten.
I googled a bit and this is what I came up with:

Even if it did happen, I don't believe in anything BitSend is saying or promising anymore.
So this will be my last post here.

Good luck and byebye  Angry

OK guys, i have done my own research about Bitsend , and the conclusion is that this is legit , they are just a new and young startup ....
SO for now i don't have doubt any more about that Smiley

I have contacted Lamassu ( the company how made the BTC ATM ) .

the answer --->
"Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. BitSend is an operator of ours and that is one of our Bitcoin Machines.

Let me know if I can be of any other help.

Cheers,

Neal Conner
Customer Service Manager
Lamassu, Inc.
neal.conner@lamassu.is
twitter.com/lamassubtc
www.lamassu.is"

i have also contacted flitsmeister and they are in contact with bitsend also.

This is not a scam at all !!

I will be in Amsterdam just this coming Saturday so if the office is opened it will be a pleasure to visit them Smiley

I did not wanted to spread son FUD and fake accusation about CKC and Bitsend , but due to the considerable amount of scam in crypto i wanted to be sure about my investment, that's all .

They gonna contact also coinssource for the POD .

Price is falling because lack of communication and surely the team works hard !
But having a nice community is more important than tech aspect in crypto.

The problem is some people demand for newsreports and developments every day. It's been clearly communicated this is a longer term project.
Bitsend is a young startup and there are enough leads to prove that they may be able to produce the software and are also running the bitcoin ATM's.

These guys aren't even trying to hide their identities and it's been covered in many newspapers including Volkskrant
http://www.volkskrant.nl/economie/bitcoin-betaalmiddel-bij-uitstek-slaat-niet-aan~a3700709/

When Maurice contacts me for an appointment I will visit next week.

For Gizfreak, the camel hasn't hurt his back: http://drimble.nl/regio/flevoland/regio-dronten/24123809/update-rtv8-tijdelijk-uit-de-lucht.html
"Dronten - RTV8 was not received for a brief moment. The fault is now fixed. The fault was probably caused by power outages."

Don't be so suspicious, there's good intentions.

@Gizfreak That's a real shame but you gotta do what you gotta do. Whenever you do something based on expectations, chances are you gonna be disappointed. That goes for anything in life not just crypto, the world is not always gonna be the way you expect/want it to be. It's the same for people, you cannot dream up a definition of someone and expect that person to behave according to your definition, I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone doing the same to you.
The trick is to do what you do, not for the anticipated outcome but because you really believe. Regardless of the outcome, you're content to have contributed to a cause/project that you really believe in. If after some time you reap some nice profits then that is a bonus, if you don't then that's fine too.

After next Friday I hope to post here a very nice post that gives CKC real value.
For now a lot of damaging posts and I don´t know why that is.
I have fait I what I am doing and I work on my crypto dream.
One day my dream can come true and the only thing you all need is patience!

More like good news. I don't know why ppl are selling checkcoins but it's gonna show us how strong community we have after 3 months.

Yep at the end of the day , checkcoin is just a nice flyer picture, no gps-related code just a clone and a startup created on the fly to try to ground it and a lot of blabla around but actually nothing again in here
Glad I didn't enter this expensive IPO for just a nice flyer. They will probably disappear progressively runnning away with the IPO coins as people will start to forget about it.
I think you are wrong.
Why should they walk away with the BTC?
In NL it relative  is not much money the ICO-funds and the market of GEO-crypto can be very big in future.
Many people here are not have patience and that is killing you investments

blockchain dont move...

How do you mean? My wallet just synced up as usual, everything is working fine for me. The devs have set up 8 dedicated nodes since launch to ensure that the wallet is always running smoothly. So even if no one else has got there wallets open, you should still be able to sync up just fine.
You should post more details regarding your issue so that the team or someone else from here can help you.

Here is what people buying into the IPO paid for :
Code:
# General Symbol Definitions
 !define REGKEY "SOFTWARE\$(^Name)"
-!define COMPANY "Darkcoin Project"
+!define COMPANY "Check Project"
 !define VERSION 0.9.0.0
-!define URL http://www.darkcoin.io/
+!define URL http://www.checkcoin.cc/

and some other string replaces as https://github.com/Checkcoin/checkcoin/commit/8497ffbd3ff23bcf289dd437e1d57de75d0966d8

nothing about geolocation ... Never go into an IPO without proper beta.
You are a fuckin' genius  Roll Eyes
You expected to find geo codes in setup.nsi file?
