Honestly all betting on the site should be stopped til these issues have been resolved. Not sure why it is still enabled.
Why would he disable it? He's keeping it enabled to clean the bank roll on his alt account instead of just directly running off with the coins. This way he can argue it's not him and to be honest we all know it's him but we have no evidence that it is. |

Thanks Dooglas, all I can say is wow.... amazing that it was caught and verified. Sadly, I think we will see more of this in the future with other new ventures, you have small development teams, geographically disperse, dealing with a very fluid currency in a burgeoning marketplace. Without a standards-based development process that incorporates a change management process with separation of responsibilities, mistakes in trust leading to loss are going to happen. Were in a turbulent market where people are throwing their money at anything that even hints of a return without due diligence. Great work from the community here though, without this band of brothers, we'd be in much more trouble. I think we need a smarter system, on going about warning people cause look now everyone is not warned and since the cultprits know there is no more future in there dice site. They might clean out, who knows I could be wrong, but damn. we need a safer way to warn others without the scammers knowing what we figured out. I think some type of amber alert system for gamblers? |

Holy fucking shit what a mess this has turned out to be. I can't believe I happened to gamble all night at Dice Bitco.in and witness this shit implode in real-time. I can literally feel this dude sweating through the internet as he has realized that this will be no laid-back, (scamming) business-as-usual Sunday, and in fact has gone ugly as shit at lightning speed. Can somebody please doxx this asshole already before he tries and disappears? Anybody got emails from DiceBitcoin? We can check email headers as a start.
I feel like I should make some popcorn and watch this soap opera unfold in real life. And I don't mean anything light towards the situation in terms of people who are unaware and still invested, and those like Spoderman and Stars who were straight up robbed. "Profit Coins?" That sounds like a horribly shitty altcoin.

Can anyone verify a recent (past hour) withdrawal? (I doubt it). Looks like we're gonna have a Mark Karpeles style leak in the cold wallet soon.  EDIT: as I say that 2000 btc gets withdrawn... |

I'm only a small investor on the site. Wouldn't risk losing a lot of bitcoins through fraud, and my caution seems to have been rewarded.
I deposited just 0.975 total into the site when the overall profit was negative. Now the profit is sitting on 161 and I have LESS bitcoins than when the site was reporting a loss. How does that work? DB has rolled back the profit to pay out cheated users, but did it roll back the commission to compensate cheated investors?
I'm withdrawing what's left before it goes to zero.

An example:
Mateo was +100BTC (profit), after the "rogue employee fiasco", Mateo's account is +0; what can Mateo do?? it is simple, he can freeroll for the amount of 100BTC because if he loses he gets paid those 100BTC because he would be in a net loss of those 100BTC!!!

Also I think you should probably shut the site down or at least halt gambling, give yourself some time to do a full data audit, code review, whatever you need to do to.
Wow, this escalated much faster than I thought. Lucky gambler takes 120+ BTC, chat is closed, and of course no indication on the website of what was or is going on. I hope that sig campain members will remove their signatures. It would be irresponsible to feed more traffic into the site at this time. |
