I would think they would want to create some buy orders. It would make sense that you had to buy boom/chash to get the discount, but that is only a guess.

If I already have btc, can I purchase BOOM from exchange (bittrex) and then use to buy miner from Cleverhash directly??

Two ways to get discount with buying with Boom - 1. Fill out the forms on Cleverhash's website and they will get in touch with you with the details (deposit address, number of Booms you need to pay after the discount) this is not recommended right now since Boom is not very liquid for the moment and buying from the exchange will make Boom super volatile and you might end up paying much more than you need. As Boom's volume increases though, this could be a better option. 2. Use buyboomcoin.com and send the discounted number of btc that's needed for a miner and that's it. buyboomcoin.com will work with Cleverhash to finalize the order.

1.What exchange rate will you use for the BTC to BOOM conversion? We will use an average of all major exchanges where the boom market had at least 1btc in daily volume to set a price per BOOM in order to pay Cleverhash. This allows for Cleverhash to quote us a fair market price.

2.If I already have btc, can I purchase BOOM from exchange (bittrex) and then use to buy miner from Cleverhash directly? Yes we would love for you to buy a miner with your BOOM coins and you can do this directly through Cleverhash http://cleverhash.com/buy-with-boom-or-hash/ BuyBoomCoins is geared toward the miners who dont currently have BOOM or HASH.

3. Is this the discount that we get for using BOOM and use the CHASH at cleverhash directly? We provide a 5% discount to the customer. This does come from the one you would get by using BOOM or CHASH.
